Gave $100 million to Breeze who has thrown 6 interceptions in 3 games. That's how many millions for intercpetions and losing games?. Breez is no good . bench that creep and sue him.

Peyton manning also is messing up with the Broncos. And they paid peyton so much and got rid of that Christian quarterback for this creep lol.

I know more about football than all these coaches and fans put together . but I won't list what they should do to win. I should get paid for it. lol

I think it was against the Saints and they pasted 28 points or so on them at the end of their second season.

Just before the paper sack days.

(nb, I am working from memory as a Rams fan who worried little about th ‘aints in those days.)

Favorite quotation from John McKay, 1st Bucs coach:

Q: What do you think of your team’s execution?

A: I’m all for it!!

I’d say the Browns and Dolphins are worse and I don’t care that Miami won 2 weeks ago...they blow.

They’re a bunch of dirty bastards - they go for the knees on every other tackle.

Diehard Cowboys fan here since 1977....their pre-season rookies played better than their starters are playing. I see a .500 season at best.

Hard to believe as bad as those early Bucs teams were, they actually did make it to the 1979 NFC Championship Game.

“They couldn’t run, they couldn’t pass, and they couldn’t block. But they made up for it all by not tackling!”

They beat the Saints after 26 consecutive opening franchise losses, 33-14 in 1977. I believe they returned 3 Archie Manning passes for touchdowns. The Bucs actually won the next week, also, against the Caridinals.

This came at the end of 2 Hank Stram seasons where the Saints never did much with him as the coach.

The next 2 years were actually the 2 best of the Saints Franchise to that point, where they were in playoff contention 2/3 of the way through the year. Late season collpases with some heartbreaking losses left the Saints with mediocre records in each year.

1980 was the bag year.

I bet you forget that the Bucs actually went to the NFC playoff game in 1979.

I seem to remember some raised eyebows when Stram went for a field goal in the closing seconds when they were down by more than three, but less than a touchdown. The field goal was not enough to win, but WAS enough to cover ... hmmm???

Also, the Saints had my all time favorite first round bust: Russell Erxleben (K/P)!

They managed - just barely - to win more of their remaining games than they lost.
