Twelve-year-old Abigale Lefevers still hasn't been found, and is believed to had been abducted by a registered sex offender. In the latest update to this missing girl's case, her father has issued some words through the media, begging for the return of the 12-year-old missing girl. The words of Robert Lefevers is similar to those of many parents who go through the horror of an abducted child, but they are heartfelt and emotional. This man, like the growing number of people who know about this case, wants Abigale home.
"Abigale if you're out there watching me right now baby, please just come home. Daddy's not mad, we can work through anything that this is, just please come home. Please come home baby," said the distraught father of the missing girl.
This is truly a distressing case, because it's truly not clarified as to whether this girl was forcefully abducted by 38-year-old Timothy Newman or if she went willingly for some reason. The words of the girl's father indicates she may have gone on her own free will, but she cannot legally consent to what is happening. Also, the looks of Timothy Newman make it hard to believe any 12-year-old girl, much less any woman, would be interested in him on any level.
Timothy Newman happens to be the roommate of Robert Lefevers, someone he trusted. The abduction of Abigale Lefevers isn't the first hardship she's had to suffer. Her mother also passed away not too long ago, so this is something taken extra seriously by the father, since she is pretty much all he has now.
Abigale's story isn't uncommon
The disappearance of this young lady isn't uncommon, unfortunately. All-too-often do parents trust people they shouldn't when it comes to the supervision, or even the occasional company, of their children. This isn't saying that Robert Lefevers is to blame for his daughter being kidnapped by a sex offender, because it absolutely is not his fault. He is simply a parent who was trusting of someone who lived under his roof. However, it's a statistical fact that these kinds of crimes are carried out by those who live in the same home as the victims. And 38-year-old Timothy Newman is a repeat offender of this very same statistical element. His previous convictions involve custodial sex crimes -- which means he either molested his own children, young relatives he was in charge of caring for, or some other relative offense of that nature. This makes him a high risk to anyone vulnerable under the same roof as he.
This has happened to many other children, whether it's a single mother who lets her various boyfriends move in or the father who trusts his sex offender roommate more than he should. Hopefully the disappearance of this preteen ends on a positive note and the registered sex offender who abducted her doesn't harm her in any way

You certainly hope that this girl is found...and found unharmed.That seems highly unlikely,however...at least the “unharmed” part.I’ve gotta say this,however....did the father know that this scumbag was a registered pervert,and,if not...why not???

You won’t catch a known sex offender on my property, much less me having him as a room mate.Definitely not around my 12 year old daughter.
If they find the child they need to look into her guardianship.
I pray they find her safe, and that they work to keep her that way.
The sex offender was probably straight but a pediphile. Why any father would leave a 12-year old with a grown man is beyond me sex offender or not.

Now, I do not make light of this situation and in fact in my own family there is a very tragic story which involves an adult and not a child that I will not share the details of here. However, suffice it to say and as I told my own child many times, I know these things don’t just happen to “other people”.
Nevertheless there really are very few stranger abductions of children.
Now maybe we would not count this as a stranger abduction since the perp was actually living in the victim’s home.
And I don’t want to run the father down, but this seems a strange situation to me that he would have a male roommate when he has sole responsibility for his daughter. And if he knew the guy’s records, well then he’s nuts and I would say that was indeed neglectful. And if he didn’t know the guy’s record, well I feel very sorry for him indeed.

Someways it was I admit. I should have said other than family members although you still have to be careful there too. Many family members are the culprits of child molestation especially back in the 50’s when everything was done in secret and nobody every knew.

Maybe you should check your facts before you publish them. Timothy Newman was not a roommate of Abigale’s father. Also, Abigaile’s parents have been divorced for years and her father has since remarried and has additional children. I understand the need for media, however, you have not done your research and are very unprofessional Chelsea.
This father should be investigated very quickly. I do not care about the misinformation given about the dirtbag sex offender not being an actual roomate of the father.
This father is guilty of PLENTY and probably more that we dont know about. WHY did this scum bag father know that his 12 year old daughter had been having sex with this oxygen thief since July, and did NOTHING about it. They said he told the guy to leave his daughter alone. really? he has sex with your 12 year old kid multiple times and you dont tell the police or go to his house and make sure he isnt spending his life eating through a straw?If this piece of trash even drove by my house, I would hunt him down, kill him and rape his dead corpse. I would then kill myself and chase him down in hell and rip his god damn heart out. How this dad didnt go to the cops or do anything more, is beyond me. Its like he didnt want the cops to know too much. Get this poor girl out of her dads hands. This girl would be better living with Kacey Anthony then her dad.
