"Ginger or Mary Ann?" The proper answer is always:

Ahhh, the good ole days!
If they were to redo the show now, Gilligan would be trying to nail the perfesser...
Sad but true.

And don’t forget his statement to Ginger:
“Oooooooh, you fog up grasses!”
That could never get past the political correctness censors today!!

And may have been a pain in the real world.
I read somewhere that she thought the show was about her.
Hence, the name...Ginger’s Island.

> Ginger or Mary Ann?
Let’s see...
Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) was once Miss Nevada in the Miss America pagent.
I’d have to go with Mary Ann.

One of my favorite scenes wasn’t even in an episode. It was in the movie “Rescue from Gilligan’s Island”. The scene where the Howells hear their rich friends criticizing the Skipper and Gilligan as scum. The Howells come into the room and kicked them all out. It was a great scene.

Did you know the theme from
Gilligan's Island was written with the same meter and rhyme scheme as Coleridge's
Rime of the Ancient Mariner?
Gilligan:
The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.
Coleridge:
The bridegroom's doors are opened wide,
And I am next of kin;
The guests are met, the feast is set:
Mayst hear the merry din.'

What happened to Ginger’s chin and why does Mary Ann have a mug shot?
To: Joe 6-pack
That’s the most common meter in Western culture. Also known as common meter or common measure. Used in countless church hymns.

I always knew that Ginger and Mary Ann would just see a young boy, but Marcia and Jan from THE BRADY BUNCH? Oh, there was a sister-sandwich that Subway never dreamed of....but I did.

They show re-runs of “The Bradys” every weekday at 4 central time.
I have only seen a few but am surprised just how hot Marcia was, especially in pants and toward the end of the series.
Too bad she turned out to be a typical Hollywood skank.
