On the heels of winning its first premiere week in the A18-49 demographic in nine years, NBC has picked up three of its new fall series - the adventure-drama "Revolution" and the comedies "Go On" and "The New Normal" -- for full-season commitments for the 2012-13 season, it was announced today by Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment.

Well then, just a regular fag-o-rama!
I’m glad I don’t watch the “idiot box”.
I get a kick out of the evil Obama clone in Revolution.
He will, I suppose, be portrayed in a positive light eventually though.
I hate the network comedy shows. They’ve all been awful for as long as I can remember. I did see the first episode of Revolution and it seemed mildly interesting since I like the dystopian genre.
I happened to catch this last week because my husband watches all sorts of crap.
Imagine my surprise when the characters engaged in a reasonable argument over who to vote for.
A black character said he didn’t vote on race, he voted on the issues.
A child opined that she liked Romney because he was stronger on Israel, but Obama on gay rights.
An older woman made a case for Romney, saying that she didn’t want more tax money going into a “broken system”.
None of the Romney proponents grew an extra head, espoused racist beliefs, or moved on to handle poisonous snakes. Imagine my surprise!
Anyone who watched this show received “permission” to vote Romney if they cared to!
What is your opinion of “Revolution”?
I am done watching pervert television. it’s clear they are going full homo on the country. it ain’t just a show title, folks. it’s a liberal goal.
the “new normal” can screw itself up it’s own a$$ for all i care.
Any self proclaimed Christian who watches the new normal needs to make their way to the alter of their local church... immediately! A little repentance is in order; and probably not just for that.
Are you talking about The New Normal or Go On?
Never.
Caught a smidge of dialogue on “Broke Girls” on CBS last night. Was going to re-up cable. That is NOT happening. Filthy language. Should have been rated R for Repulsive.
Went with upping our computer speed instead. LOL
I don’t care who carries it I just won’t match MSM for anything.
Yep, we’re supposed to like The New Normal. We’re supposed to be interested in two homosexual men who need to find a girl to be their surrogate mother, as these men are wanting to start their family.
Yep, just another family sitcom. (Sarcasm)
i am so tired of libs shoving homos in my face. you apparently can’t put a show on tv now without lesbians and/or fags in it.
Modern Family is dead to me. New Normal I will never watch. Happy Endings, gone.
Revolution:
A country has been taken over by an evil militia that has all the guns. There is no electricity...so of course citizens revert to using swords as weapons (never mind that we have had gun powder longer than we have had electricity)
The rebels are the good guys (liberals) who protect the original American flag.
In one episode a cast member gets electricity just long enough to gaze longingly at the pictures of their family on their old iphone 5.
Aside from the ridiculous Hollywood messaging...the show is pretty good and well produced.
I like the show. How did you get the rebels are liberals?..I don't get that message at all. I'm still on the fence on the militia..there are clues thrown out they may actually be the good guys and they are not as they appear.
It's going to be interesting..
That said, it nevertheless offers some entertainment. It is vaguely reminiscent of “Jericho”, a show which I enjoyed greatly at the start, and Revolution is also visually derivative of the interesting “Life After People” series which ran several years back. See also my post #3 on this thread.
It has occasional moments of message which are worthwhile. Last episode of Revolution showed a sniper with a modern rifle picking off bad guys (in an otherwise ridiculous scenario). When one of the bad guys took cover behind a car door I told Mrs. Lurkin “Right through the door!” and sure enough that is what happened.
Bottom line: I don't see this running longer than one season, but who knows?
The millitia is antigun, the one guy said, this is why citizens can’t own guns......
It is oddly somewhat conservative....
They referred to the resistance as liberals in the first episode. Now they are the ones with the secret US flag tattoos.
The militia was formed in the absence of the government and they want to disarm everyone else (comparing militia to nazis).
Still a good show though.
