I don't mean to pee on the parade of all the Mitt fans here. But did anybody else notice how Romney threw the Tea Party and conservatives in general under the bus tonight. He has disavowed every conservative position he has ever PRETENDED to take.

We saw that tonight. He’s just Obama without the tan and the eloquent rhetoric. I don’t expect things to change in this country under a Romney White House.

I view Romney in the same light as Harper. He cannot come out as a strong Republican, because that would almost assuredly lose him votes. That’s the political reality.
However, once in office, he can enact legislation that will pull the country towards the right, and the people will support him once they start benefitting from a more conservative platform.

Not everything was stuff we would like, but he’s a heck of a lot better and still had TONS of conservative themes portrayed in a way that can get the mushy middle.
