DID ANYONE NOTICE WHAT OUR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF SAID DURING THE DEBATE????
Kinda like axe = ask.
He was just telling Lehrer "You're not covering my backside quick enough, get with it!".
Here’s a YouTube video that condenses his major gaffes into a nice one-minute recreation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5Slxr_JwEA
"All those things are designed to make sure that the American people, their genius, their grit, their determination, is -- is channeled and -- and they have an opportunity to succeed. And everybody's getting a fair shot. And everybody's getting a fair share," Obama said, before quickly correcting himself and adding.
"Everybody's doing a fair share, and everybody's playing by the same rules"
Seems to me like the liberals are jumping ship on this guy, I was worried for a few weeks. But after last nights debate, Obama has no chance. He knows it, he’s beaten. All they have on Romney now is “ He’s not a nice guy, he interrupted Jim and Obama during the debates.” What a joke.
The best definition of "gaffe" I believe is Charles Krauthammer's (although I don't know if he coined it).
Goes something like this:
gaffe: A politician's inadvertent statement of what he really believes.
I just hope that the undecideds and the independent voters who said that Romney won the debate will end up voting for him, that is the key..will the people who say that Romney clearly won(Which he did) end up voting for him, if they do it will be a landslide victory for Romney.
The 2nd Debate about foreign policy won’t matter much since right now the economy is the main issue with people, but Romney should clean Obama’s clock since Obama is covering up what happened in Libya..even if the next debate the moderator allows Obama to talk, GOOD let him talk, the more Obama talks the more he makes himself look like a damn fool
They're now adding the claim that Romney only won "on lies."
As many of us have observed before, Leftists are prone to engage in projection.
And of course the "Romney lies" meme is patently ironic in view of the exposure of the Obama/Axelrod/Clinton culture of lies ... as revealed by the Libya debacle.
I liked Romney’s response on that too, especially when he pointed out that Obama was going after the lousy 2.8 billion in tax exemptions by gas companies, despite the fact that Obama had approved over $90 billion is tax exemptions to green companies...most of which had gone belly-up. What was it, 20+ years of exemptions to green companies compared to those the oil companies get in one year? Romney made a lot of good points last night, and I couldn’t believe that afterwards, Brit Hume claimed Romney made no memorable comments during the debate. Makes me wonder if he watched the same debate we did.
Gaff: A stick with a hook, or a barbed spear, for landing large fish.
Romney had the “gaff”, Obama provided the “gaffes.”

When Obama said, “thank you for having me here tonight” when what he really meant to say was, “can’t we just skip all this nonsense and declare me reelected?”
Romney had Obama ready for the gaff last night.
