you can always get at least 15% of people to disagree with anything.

Sturgeon’s Law: “Ninety percent of everything is crap.”
Oh, and my old man’s law: “If it’s popular, there’s gotta be something wrong with it.”
360,000,000 people can’t be wrong! But after I watched it I still wanted to watch another video.
Good stuff. Thanks for the post.
My kids love it,what can i a say.
Its on I-tunes now, and very nice.
Love how it invokes each and every “Bond tune” through the many years. Just little riffs that we all know well.
The opening riff is from OHMSS. The ending riff is from The World is Not Enough. The Bond Riff is from TWINE.
The song seems average to me. Adele is a good singer. The song just isn’t that impressive as a song. The lyric was unimpressive. The sampling of other Bond themes/songs was a good idea. The intro was actually tedious. Goldfinger was much more impressive: more challenging song, greater vocal range, more interesting sounding melody.
Still, this is better than Duran Duran’s Bond song!!!
Did you find the orchestration, as I did, a bit too much, overproduced? The tune does not seem memorable, does it.
I like this version too...That chick is hot.

Oh nose, the bad guy (if that’s what he is) appears to be... GASP! gay!
Is Javier Bardem a gayfer in the movie? I know that some Bond movies have depicted some of the villains as such.......but Javier? Just d@mn!
Oh, and my old mans law: If its popular, theres gotta be something wrong with it.

He IS wise.....and give him a hug!
I agree. I’m not saying it’s a bad song (like Paper Lace’s Night Chicago Died), I just can’t see how it lives up to the hype. Also, doesn’t it go on for about 40 to 60 seconds too long?
Compare it to this classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MagCoUYvIXE Don’t you get the feeling they were shooting for a 21st century Goldfinger but fell short because the music they wrote just wasn’t memorable and the lyric was rather vacuous or inane.
And listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pcwAQoux-g If that really is from the soundtrack, isn’t that more memorable than Adele’s song? Seriously.
And “Skyfall” needs more cowbell too. :)
