I think it was just that Romney was totally on his game, surprisingly super sharp. O started out fine, he seemed to be eloquent and talking like a college grad, if not an Ivy Leaguer. But Romney just kept bringing it on. O pretty much folded under the pressure, looking down, and just nodding in seeming agreement to one after another of Romney’s effective attacks or rebuttals. Maybe it’s true that O had rehearsed some talking point style responses, but those proved inadequate. Kudos to Romney on this one.
Within five minutes Romney had complete control of the debate.Barry never knew what hit him.We saw the real Romney and the real Barry during the Vanilla Thrilla.

Hi Count. I forgot that the starting point in my last reply was going to be that that thought about mooch almost makes me toss my cookies. So, yes, that was a possible explanation for O's belly flop. And you're right, Romney was in charge right from the start.
