But, but Lance never failed a (easy to fool, behind the times) drug test!

We’re $16 Trillion in debt, guns are being run across the border (with a wink and a nod from the regime), our embassies are sacked abroad and the ambassador murdered and they are spending time and resources investigating Lance Armstrong to see if he beat drug tests 10-12 years ago? Somehow I think the priorities are askew.

For sure. I wonder how many millions of dollars the US spent chasing down these BS reports about Armstrong.

Meanwhile... nothing but crickets chirping when it comes to exposing the truths about Obama’s fraudelent past.

If every professional athlete in the world were drugged to the gills, what difference would it make? They’re entertainers. If they can entertain while on drugs, the fans are getting what they pay for.

Does Lance support Romney - this can be the only reason the USADA is going at him so hard.

He passes all the tests, like all other athletes, but somehow now he is getting nailed now ? Who did he piss off ?

He has an inspiring story....

You could cut-off whatever funds the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency gets, and never get any closer to exposing the truths about Obama’s fraudulent past.

I've been given to believe they save samples for rechecking in later-developed improved tests.

Have you heard otherwise?

Are you saying George Hincapie and 10 other team-mates are all liars? Face it, he doped. They all did. Basically everyone on every team did.

no, there are plenty of people and resources to investigate all sorts of things. the fact he’s lied about it all this time made more resources have to be spent proving he lied, so you can blame him for expending the resources you think ought to go to other things.

I have heard some of the samples have been re-tested under higher quality tests ad they’ve come back + .

Nothing but a personal witch hunt. A complete abuse of government power.

You just hit it dead center. Every team out there was doping, the best that can be said is that perhaps his team did better than most. This whole mess is nothing but a witch hunt beginning to end.

I hadn’t heard that.

Not saying it didn’t happen; just saying I hadn’t heard it.

“Are you saying George Hincapie and 10 other team-mates are all liars?”

I think it’s far easier to say that when faced with the potential of a rabid persecution by the USADA they were coerced into making certain statements in return for immunity, reduced fines, and other deals.

More here:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/cycling/lancearmstrong/9599746/Lance-Armstrong-and-US-Postal-files-set-to-be-released-by-United-States-Anti-Doping-Agency.html

Armstrong’s reputation lies in ruins with USADA accusing him of doping, encouraging others to dope and drug trafficking.

“The evidence also includes direct documentary evidence including financial payments, emails, scientific data and laboratory test results that further prove the use, possession and distribution of performance enhancing drugs by Lance Armstrong and confirm the disappointing truth about the deceptive activities of the USPS Team, a team that received tens of millions of American taxpayer dollars in funding,” said Travis Tygart, the chief executive of USADA.

“Together these different categories of eyewitness, documentary, first-hand, scientific, direct and circumstantial evidence reveal conclusive and undeniable proof that brings to the light of day for the first time this systemic, sustained and highly professionalized team-run doping conspiracy.

“The USPS Team doping conspiracy was professionally designed to groom and pressure athletes to use dangerous drugs, to evade detection, to ensure its secrecy and ultimately gain an unfair competitive advantage through superior doping practices. A program organized by individuals who thought they were above the rules and who still play a major and active role in sport today.” USADA claims to have shattered the “code of silence” in cycling and called on the UCI to set up a “Truth and Reconciliation” commission.
