Unless Joe makes one of his infamous gaffes, this will be a tie. I hope I'm wrong, but it's not certain that Ryan will be able to be good in this kind of format with a moderator who may be the most biased and most determined to undermine R/R.
Joe will trot out his blue collar creds and act the part. It will be difficult for Ryan to gain an advantage unless Biden gaffes in the worst of ways.

Ryan has received the same serious prep Romney got.
He isn’t going into this blind or dumb.

While I have all the respect in the world for Paul Ryan, I wouldn't put any money on a Biden flop. He's done this before. He's run for his party's nomination twice and debated as the VP nominee in 2008. And he actually did pretty well...as long as you don't give demerits for lies.
Ryan's a rookie at these kind of debates...I expect him to do well but I'm not expecting a knockout. And I'm not going to be discouraged tomorrow if the lamestreamers are braying about a Biden win.

My advice to Ryan: don't get cocky, don't screw up.

Well he didn’t win any of those debates and dropped out of the race early. He also lost the one the with the supposedly stupid Sarah Palin.
The Dems wanted to dump him off the ticket back in July.
His skills are so overblown.

Joe’s debate strategy (as he announced a few minutes ago on Fox) is “Rope-a-dope”.

Ryan better be ready to expect everyone on the set to be against him, including the moderator, the light technicians, the sound guy, the make-up people etc etc etc.

When the hell is the gop going to wise up and DEMAND a moderator from FOX or somebody that they know is neutral

Well if he lies then Ryan should call him on it

Biden’s job is to drop “collars” around Ryan’s neck; Ryan budget, abortion, Ryan’s “no” on Simpson-Bowles. After the debate the MSM will grab these “collars” and spin them against Ryan. It’s all set up in advance; the “narrative” is already set up.

I’m not arguing against any of what you say. Just be prepared for the LSM to start pumping a Biden win in an attempt to create an obama polling bump.

And I'm not going to be discouraged tomorrow if the lamestreamers are braying about a Biden win.I'm expecting 0's lapdogs in the media to declare a Biden victory. I just hope that the evening's events come out even enough that the general public doesn't walk away with the clear perception of a winner.
To: Signalman
Ole Joe will get up there and tell some whoppers but he will do it with a smile and be very charming. He won’t fall down and drool on himself like Barry did. But I think Paul Ryan will look really good.
