A message from Tom, a machine shop owner and businessman, who is trying to help Americans understand just how destructive Obama and his minions are toward business owners across America.

Great video. Forwarded it to Drudge and Beck. This needs to get out there.

Too bad only conservative minded kids will get it. Liberal kids think only Obama and the left care about the poor and middle class and the right only cares about big business and money. Even so called “grownup” liberals think this way.

The brainwashing from the left always amazes me with the ignorance it imparts on the weak minded who embrace it.

Good job and good message. I am also a small business owner. I fight the same fights and the same lopsided business playing field. It ranges from regulations to taxes to international trade terms every day. Some things may seem small and insignificant but they all add up. This old horse is carrying all he can and getting less able to every day.

Tom is telling the truth. The competition he faces from overseas couldn’t measure up to the standards we have to pass here and yet their products are sold here... nothing but hypocritical.

Next time you take a bite of Chilean apple, grape or other fruit remember that their farmers and wholesalers don’t have to meet the same standards we do here. How else could they possibly grow it there and then ship it here and still make a profit?

Next is chicken or beef. We are closely regulated, can’t use the medications we need for flock health without detailed application and lengthy government bureaucrat approvals. They don’t care, our chickens die, we go out of business, we can’t compete because of this. Instead of our birds you’ll eat birds that are imported. Birds that have only a fraction of the regulation placed on their growing as we have here.

Not all the health, safety and environmental standards are bad but they are not equally applied. Our people can compete on an equal footing but not with both hands tied behind our backs. No regulations go away. They are only always added to.

Free American Business.

Obama didn’t start the war on US small business, but he is a culmination of it. Leftists always prefer large business. They are easy to control, easy to include in Gov’t plans, and their management and politicians are a revolving door.

Tom is correct. I see it myself. We can make things here, but we have to face everything from OSHA to EPA to Obamacare to unions to sky-high insurance to product liability to trial lawyers to massive taxes on meager profits.

Why bother!? You can make it in China. Let them worry about all that stuff. I can just pick the product up at the port, and sell it as is.

He said, paraphrasing, that we need a president who understands business.

That much is true, but the bigger picture is that we need a president who doesn’t hate this country.
