OK that was pretty stupid. When is the next debate?

I mean what are we wasting our breath about?

A biased debate "moderator", holds a meaningless debate.

Blah blah blah.

As long as pubs continue to allow libs to run ‘em over by picking “moderators” that really should be behind bars for sedition and/or treason, we’ll continue to be frustrated with a complete lack of fairness and balance.

I would hope that the average viewer could see how fat ass candy was obviously in BO’s corner. To me, that was the deciding factor in this. Romney gets the sympathy vote for dealing with this tripe.

It wasn’t meaningless.

President Bullshit was exposed for what he is.

I must be in the minority of those who enjoyed the debate. I actually didn’t mind Crowley much either. In all fairness, I believe that it would not have mattered who was the moderator because Romney completely took control of it. The questions from the audience were actually pretty good questions.

Obama, Crowley & the questions were what I expected. The only thing I wasn't sure of was how Romney would come across.

In hindsight I think he did fine. Nothing to worry about here.

Interesting idea.

We should perhaps go to one of the debates being the way you describe.

I like it. Not as an end-all, but seriously it would remove the absurd media bias.

Bump.

I’m not really sure how Romney could have done any better.

It was the absolute WORST moderated debate in history. Crowley actually participated at one point, calling Mitt a liar in effect and wrong. She intervened on the side of the Obozo Clown Group with FALSE INFORMATION.

Overall, this ‘debate’ was just a sidshow for the Left to get its jollies.................

When is the final debate, and who is the moderator?

Nov. 6 is the one that counts

The voters are the moderators for that one.

As long as they allow liberal “journalists” to moderate these debates, they will be rubbish. Republican candidates shouldn’t have to debate two people.

The ridiculous performance by Candy Crawly will be remembered long after the words of either candidate. They were both fairly dull and unremarkable, repeating points from their stump speeches.

But Candy raised the bar on how to poorly moderate a debate. Her performance will be used for years to instruct how not to fairly do the job.

I thought Romney did quite well on the most important issues of this election - the Economy & Jobs, this debate allowed him to define his plans further and showed that 0bama has no plan other than tax the wealthy.

The Economy & Jobs is what is first on everyone’s mind

Just thinking back... McCain would have let himself get steamrolled and Bush would have bumbled his way through on the defensive. I am glad we have a candidate that can hold his own in these impossible situations.

It would have been better for the nation to just put the two in a caged wrestling/boxing match instead, no refs, no holds, anything goes.

Would Obama fight?

I know Romney would, and would go in from the start, no playing the numbers, no playing any sympathy card, no Romney would grab a chair, a fire extinguisher, he would drop Obama quick, hard and out completely.

last night Romneys body language was telling all the signs that he dearly wanted to knock Obamas smirk off his face.

This is not about a biased moderator. It’s Chicago politics front and center. The trap was set by Axelrod—and Crowley closed the deal: they turned what should have been a Romney home run on Benghazi into a grand slam for Obama. Romney looked befuddled and stuttering while THE ONE turned his back and dismissively walked away. This was LEFTIST theater designed to sway the 60 million viewers(mostly uninformed). The damage was done—the gact that it was based on lies is irrelelvant. Why the GOP allows itself time and again to be outwitted by these debate formats is beyond me.

He was able to clearly and concisely describe how lowering the rates COUPLED with removing deductions would work. At least he made it clear for me.

Clearly deining his plan is extremely important, the democRats and the media have been trying to define him all along.

Right now is the country, people care about their job, the ecomony and the future economy, the rest is fodder.

while that question was biased, I think Mitt turned it to his advantage. I liked Bush but his fiscal policies sucked. Romney clicked off substantive differences, without throwing Bush under the bus. Anyone who was truly interested in the answer to that, as opposed to waiting for the trap to spring, I think walked away with the differences clarified.
