So why are local media not covering the story involving Harris, who has been with the school since September, allegedly assaulting a 10-year-old student and forcing her class to learn Islamic hand signs? What makes this story different? A Black, Muslim Obama supporter is involved maybe.

I know it isn’t nice for me to say this, but I read this on The Blaze this morning but did not see a picture of the teacher... And now that I have, she looks EXACTLY like I figured she would look while I was reading the article. Funny how that happens sometimes.

Because they don't want the death threats that come with reporting anything unpleasant about islam?

the Islamic gesture meaning power and strength. The way Bennett described it, it sounds like an upside A-OK hand gesture.
That sounds like some sort of gang hand signage. The dimwit Latino and Amish gangbangers are always going around making bizarre finger signage that simply makes them look like what they are, dumb a-sh-les, to the rest of us.
To: Altariel
I can think of one applicable hand gesture.

“trying to teach students an Islamic hand sign.
So does this fall under “reading”, “writing”, or “(a)rithmatic”? No wonder we (the US) score so poorly in education.
BTW I got a “hand sign” for her.

I would love to hear how well Tara speaks English. Just a guess, but trailer park trash have a better command of the language. Why should I write something like this? It is simple. Our standards are so low for teachers that we don't get around to important issues like, “are you wiling to teach just the subject and only the subject you are hired to teach”? What seems completely rational for most Christians has thrown out the window.

Separation of church and state only applies to Christians.
Need to sue her, the school and the teachers union for Religious discrimination.

Danish psychologist Nicolai Sennels studies the effects of Islamist inbreeding:
"If there are two things that characterize Islamic culture, they are terrorism and inbreeding. The latest research shows that these two things might be closely connected . . . First cousin marriages have been the tradition in many Muslim families for innumerable generations. Such marriages increase the risk of negative mental and physical consequences . . . Risk of mental retardation increases with 400 percent (Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, 1978 Effect of inbreeding on IQ and mental retardation). Research shows that the IQ is 10-16 points lower in children born from blood related parents and that abilities related to social behavior and empathy develops slower in inbred babies (Indian National Science Academy, 1983 Consanguinity Effects on Intelligence Quotient and Neonatal Behaviours of nsari Muslim Children [pdf]). Such facts might make several pieces fall into place for many people . . . People with low intelligence (because of inbreeding) might also be easier to brainwash with fundamentalist Islam. "
My emphasis.
I guess it's not just inbreeding.. unless . . . .

I’m frequently around muslims from other countries but cannot recall any such thing as traditional “Islamic hand signs.” I am guessing, but is the school teacher a member of the heretical Nation of Islam and is she actually teaching gang signs or some other crap she made up like the new agers do by calling their own fantasies “American Indian” tradition?
