Not to compare Romney to Reagan, but I seem to remember Reagan talking to the very conservative, the moderates, and the so-called Reagan Democrats. You can't compare Reagan trying to deal with the public's knowledge that he was a famous right-winger, to a man who is famous among conservatives for being anti-Reagan and anti-conservative.

Nevermind they were/are on polar opposites sides of the political spectrum.
It is now fashionable to lie/pretend that Romney is a conservative, nevermind his record that screams otherwise.
