Exactly. Regarding “Ainu,” for anyone who’s been around Inuit folks,... It’s also funny, watching movies with settings in Medieval China. “Look Ma! The Injuns are comin’!” Frozen remains of redheads have also been discovered in many sites from the Gobi to northern Siberia, and from there, along the south of Russia to western Europe.

I don’t have any problem with any of that or other discoveries about races. Those of us who guess at the number of generations before us tend to realize something important about ourselves. We each make our individual identity.

I’m an American. “Prehistoric “Kennewick Man’” was also what he made of himself. As for making racial discoveries about ancient people, folks can chase their own tales, if they want to (spelling intentional). Most of the ancients cared more about nationalities and religions than races.

"I may be wrong but I think asian and american indians had very little facial hair. Although my brother in law, Scilian countn’t grow a beard or mustache. But had a great amount of hair on his head, thick and black and hard to get rid of bed head...he wore a silk stocking for a cap at night to keep his hair from getting too bed headdy....great guy, passed away in his 70’s without any grey hair.."

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but this is the busiest time before winter here. Also quit smoking and have the temporary short attention span.

Anyway, Sicily was a busy world trading port for so long, it had something in common with our contemporary USA. As with Sicilians, many of we Americans are mutts. And we know that mutts rule, eh? ;-) To our health (although I hardly ever drink at all)!

As for Indians, I'm not sure. Maybe some didn't grow much facial hair. But you know, like Asians, many of them plucked it out or shaved it off. :-) Little story about some American Indians in northeastern early America. They were taller Indians. They found a little boy who'd gotten lost from a nearby colony.

They couldn't find his parents and adopted him. He spent most of his days out in the sun, like his tribe and nation. When he was beginning to come of age, they plucked all of the hair from his head except for the designated topknot spot near his crown. He became a young man and warrior of his adoptive people. Later, he was reintroduced to the people of the colony that he originated from.

Voila. Surprise. ;-)

Just imagine...if we each could get information on every single generation in our heritage before us...in all of history, from the Beginning. Whole lotta heritage there, no?

I once asked him the difference between a Sicilian and Italian. I would get permanently banned if I told you what he said....LOLgood luck on not smoking and no need to answer, concentrate on being a non-smoker. GG
