Yikes, I’m not sure I’d even walk that.

Walking on that would be no big deal. I’ve climbed fixed structures far higher than this.

I would never dream of riding a mountain bike on it. I am way too un-coordinated plus I’d worry how they were going to get my broken body out of there.

I like some room for error, even a few inches....nobody can be perfect for miles and miles.....especially when tired.

Walk it? Probably. fish the stream down below? If there are fish in it, I will try to catch them. Ride it? Fuggedaboutit!

Great video.

I am a mountain biker but would never try such a trail (I tend to be a little accident prone).

But there are guys like Danny Macaskill who could easily deal with that kind of trail. Check this out...

Here's another video that demonstrates what some of these really good mountain bikers can do (this one is REALLY incredible)...

Well I’am back in the saddle since my bicycle accident!
Had a great ride yesterday, just 20 mi and a bit of pushing it. Too many damaged parts to be eased back. Still a great ride.

That said my perspective has changed.
Yes I was wearing a helmet and all the many people who said my skull was so thick, still it crushed like a dropped egg!

Not wearing my heart rate monitor for two reasons, not pushing yet and if a wheel skidders a tiny bit on gravel in a turn, oh no! My HRM may go up in smoke!

Still afraid to so much as LOOK at the dirt!

I am here, life is good, thank you God!

Oops. Thx for letting me know.

That is almost as insane as this:

On second thought — nowhere near it.

My sons got into mountain biking in NH. Although I love to bike, I did not like that sport so much. I’m too chicken.

Thanks!

There's a name for the ability/action of balancing your bike on a rock, and "jumping" to another location. Anyone know/remember what it's called? I've seen it before with motorcycles as well.
