I was glad Mitt didn't go after the carrots on a stick that Obozo and Bob "Shuffler" were waving at him.
Obozo needed a fight last night and he didn't get it...so they couldn't make Romney look like a white guy beating up on the black guy for their meme for the next week. Instead Obozo looked like a spoiled child throwing a hissy fit.....
Did you notice that the side by side image of Obozo and Romney last night had a larger-closer image of Obozo on the screen, while Romney was further back and smaller?
did they mean running off and leaving Mary Jo to drown? ; )
someone on twitter said he had a vein pulsing in his jaw and looked to be seething at various points. that doesn’t play well.
I thought Obama appeared to be like the jerk at a party trying to jump in and look really cool. He sat there like an attack dog waiting to pounce. He let loose with one JoeyB style laugh, then stared like a cat watching a mouse. He didn’t play the part of POTUS, Romney nailed that. It was fascinating. Romney got through it unscathed. Obama was so desperate to mock him and show his superiority that he came off as the classic jerk no one likes.
The final debate wasn’t yare
And Mitt made no effort to star
Didn’t diddle or fiddle

and your internals tell you that you’ve got the
match in hand, it would be foolish to be overly aggressive.
On CNN, John King said that you'll see the president's "ships and aircraft carriers" comments in Romney television ads in Virginia. May I recommend the D.C., Norfolk, and Newport News television markets?
The very first question out of the gate showed Romney to be a bit hesitant. That faded pretty quick, but he had me worried with his demeanor with that one.
I sense that he {romney} thinks he has this in hand, and Obams also knows that HE is slipping away. it comes through in their demeanor. Don’t you think?
Romeny made a point that the Navy needs more ships, that is has fewer ships than in 1918 (or some long ago year). Obama then stated that we also have fewer horses and bayonets than back then.
Then he went on a condescending rant about how we have ships where airplanes can land called “air craft carriers” and ships that go under water called “submarines.”
It was classic Obama talking down.
Romney did make a mistake by going so back in history, but Obama really made an ass of himself.
That rant of Obama’s was a riot. He talked down and tried to demean Romney with it. What he failed to remember is he is talking to all Americans as well. Not likeable with it. Then a marine tweeted that they still use bayonets. It was priceless.
None of that goes over well with the "Oh can't we all just get along" Independents and women..... and it reinforces those who have just decided to vote for Romney, to stay with Romney.
Those lines about Israel last night were priceless and designed to make the Jewish vote move to the right. I was jumping up and down laughing when Romney said, "You skipped Israel.....(on your Apology tour)" and "They noticed you skipped them"........Just Priceless!
Did Luntz show the reaction to that rant. You nailed the highlights from it. I was shouting GO Obama! Tick off some more independents cause you are living up to your own worst caricature.
That Romney hit was awesome! I loved it.
I also told my irate mom last night that Romney has to be seeing something in his internals that the rest of us are unaware of, to be sitting back last night, playing calm, cool, collected, prevent defense.....
I did catch that right before bed. His focus group liked it, which I find appalling. They liked they idea that “technology” means we can fight better with fewer ships, but the Obama attitude was so offputing I was surprised by the reaction.
Most of his group thought Obama did better on FP aspects of debate (which makes no sense to me), but stated that FP doesn’t matter. It’s the economy stupid, and Romney wins on that.
I noticed the bosom blonde in the front row and the black women in the second were Dem plants. No way with their loud Obama cheering were they undecideds. I found them loud and crass.
Was the focus group Dems and Reps? Or undecideds? I missed their intro.
i heard some of the Luntz group feedback this AM on the way in on XM via FOx and Friends and i heard them saying that Obams did well. i was astounded. but the paralegal quickly informed me when i got here this AM that the group also said that the economy trumped FP and that they were aware that Obams doesn’t win on that, so i felt better.
I disagreed with Kraut’s assessment of the last debate when he claimed ozero won on points, but then the polls showed Romney won on every issue. So I didn’t understand what points Dr. K was tallying. I listened to it in the car on the way home from bible study and was yelling “not true!” at ozero’s responses. I didn’t care for his trying to look intimidating death stares and his frequent interruptions either. No manners, no class.
even sight unseen, several of the comments sounded to me like Dem plants and not undecided. the comments praising him were far too scripted and didn’t sound remotely spontaneous.
I didn’t hear the intro, I figured they would be undecideds. Yes, those two were standing out.
