- The North Shore Scenic Railroad ...travels from Duluth, MN to Two Harbors, MN along the shore of Lake Superior
- The 1880 Train... travels from Hill City, SD to Keystone, SD in the Black Hills using vintage steam locomotives
- Boone Scenic Valley Railroad ...Boone, IA has the last steam locomotive produced in the world (from China)
- Austin Steam Train Association... travels through the Texas hill country from Cedar Park, TX to Burnett, TX
