I hope you are correct.
I hope that you’re right. And the TX economy is not that bad, so I can olly imagine how folks in some other states may feel.
I had a similar experience on a very small scale. I was out of town on business, and sat down with some people at the reception that was discussing politics.
A black lady about 70 or 75 years old was talking about Obama. She was saying well ok so he got to be elected, and I guess that nice for him, but these people are not entitled. They are not. She repeated this several times.
Then she looked at me and said, “you know what I mean-you grew up knowing you had to work, and that you are not entitled.” She wasn’t happy about the Romney 57% either.
It sounded like she planned to stay home.
Take this to the bank: blacks will vote well over 90% for Obama.
voting for Obama was a "gesture vote" last time and he won't do it again.
I suspect he is not alone.
Very encouraging experience you had!
Could have a real impact in Virginia. Maryland? New Jersey?
Here in Pennsylvania it could depress turnout in Philadelphia.
Wow!
African-American jobless rate surges
By Emily Jane Fox @CNNMoney July 6, 2012
The unemployment rate for blacks rose to 14.4% from 13.6% in May, the Labor Department reported Friday. That's a sharp contrast to the white unemployment rate, which stayed put at 7.4%, and the Hispanic rate, which held at 11%.
You missed the point.
Black turnout will be lower this time around.
The percentage of blacks voting for the Marxist is NOT the point.
That is what I am hoping for. It is about time for them to wake up. Thank you for this GREAT uplifting report.
Sleep with one eye open? There is an OLD phrase...
In the land of the Blind the One Eyed is King
With all due respect, dear FReeper, I’d like to believe you’re right but I just can’t.
Blacks will come out in mobs for Obunghole because he’s black.
I would like to see the black democrat vote drop to 60 or even 70%, because frankly, to know that they all vote exactly the same at 96%, creates a creepy feeling in non-blacks, it makes blacks seem remote, separate, unreachable, rigid in a racial way.
Just knowing that 30% of blacks vote non-democrat would change that completely, it would mean that you could not look at people in public and predict how they vote, that you couldn’t already know their politics without ever even speaking to them.

MANY thanks for posting this, for a number of reasons.
The first of which is, it’s uplifting.
I used to think I was bigoted against blacks.
But, I discovered I’m bigoted against “entitlement minded” blacks;
I discovered I’m bigoted against “entitlement minded” whites;
I discovered I’m bigoted against “entitlement minded” people.
(I really just don’t like leftists, socialists, communists or lazy bastards.)
THINK SQUAD: Chicago blacks say Democrats are clueless about how mad theyve made black folk....”

But.. What percentage of blacks will vote? THAT is the question! This article is about apathy.
I think so too...also think the turnout from college kids is going to be much lower. I base that on conversations with nieces, nephews, friends who have college kids...the kids aren’t feeling it this time. It’s not the “cool thing” to be an Obama voter.
Well, maybe they should quit thinking about how things help “blacks” and worry more about what the commie in chief is doing to Americans.
