"I tell people even though you think you know how your dog is going to react in a situation where the police are called to the scene you may not be correct about that," said Dougan.
How useful is a dog that is trained to treat a man who may be busting in with force in plain clothes at the wrong address with submission and deference?
I watch old episodes of Dragnet. They didn't have Miranda yet, but boy did they know their legal restrictions and take them seriously.

No shootings by postal workers or meter readers that I’m aware of. (But then, I’m not aware of any Atlanta meter readers or postal workers which carry a service firearm. )
Still disturbing that out of nearly 100 cases, the police were exonerated on *all* of them.

I closed the FB a long time ago. By then the only “friends” I had on there were either conservative or non-political or smart enough to keep their mouths shut.
