Whew. You had me worried, girl. I’m glad you’re alive and mostly well. Do you have blankets? Any way to burn wood? Food for pets?
Need me to send a care package from Texas?
Actually, Miss Snotty Pants has been reduced to eating her pets. Yuck!
Seriously, so far we are fine though without any power or heat. But I have a cord of wood left and plenty of eats. Unfortunately, we are due to be hit with another storm - not as severe as Sandy.
The devastation at the Jersey Shore (where I am) is horrendous. I can’t believe the damage. Chris Matthews needs to rot in hell for his comments.
But my husband and I are very, very lucky. By next week I should be back to being as snotty as ever as only a born and bred New Yorker can be. And hopefully you will always be a Texan.
