That statement is so revealing about the "thought" process of confused 'progressives'.

The hallmark of confused leftism is elevating symbolism over substance to the point of absurdity. So Obama showing up, voting 'present', and spouting some inane cliches about government help during disasters is tantamount to 'leadership'.
