Find who took him to vote or help vote and kick their butt.

$30 can’t cause a life or death situation anymore these days its one trip to McDonlalds.

My disabled and very ill step daughter came within a few hours of being evicted due to "failure to pay" a $25 renter's insurance premium. She actually had paid it. Was the landlord's error. This quite possibly could have been a matter of life and death for her had she been on the street for a day or two.

You have no idea how much $30 or one dollar is to some of these people.

And, BTW, a McChicken meal still costs $3.78 around here. That's what I get.

I suppose that must be it — I was homeschooled too, and have ended up MORE conservative than my parents, although they are also plenty conservative.

We were under no obligation to fund her entire college education, including a car, rent, food, two computers, cell phones, insurance, even vet bills for her creaky old cat, yet we did so. She has zero debt, and zero bills. She has never had to work hard for anything but grades. Perhaps that was our mistake. Still, she isn’t so spoiled that she hasn’t seen us scrape and sacrifice and doing without for her benefit.

I don’t believe it was too much to ask that she not bite the hands that literally feed her. Just as she has a right to vote her conscience, I also have the right to not have to fund it. Let’s put it this way - she also has the right to get an abortion. She does not have the right to expect me to fork over the cash to pay for it.

He likes big government and central planning SO rather than just give him the money and let him do as he pleases with it make him qualify for it THEN add strings attached. Tell him there are others poorer than him, more diverse than him that may better qualify. IF he qualifies THEN tell him what he must spend it on...
