CNN Employee on HuffPost: 'My Son Wore a Dress for Halloween'

You might know you’re on The Huffington Post when you find an article headlined “My Son Wore a Dress for Halloween.” The author was Kelly Byrom, an “Art Director for HLN-TV and CNN.” Her son "Twirl" (a pseudonym) knocked on doors as the Disney fairy Silvermist.

Like a good liberal, she fears that her son will be pressured to change: "My biggest worry is the same as C.J.'s mom, who so eloquently wrote, "I don't want my boy to want a boy costume." I don't want my son to want a boy costume just because he is afraid to be himself. If he truly wants the boy costume, no big deal, but if he is doing it out of fear or shame, then that will be a problem."

Byrom thought it a little funny that she didn't want the skirt too short on her son's costume, so "he decided on Silvermist, the blue fairy who has a longer, blue dress with a little purple in it.

These people are ruining their children.....they deny Truth and biology and are training their children to live in a fantasy world.

Artificial construct-—you can condition children to think anything-—like the little boys in harems dressed like girls in Afghanistan. They learn to hate women—women’s bodies are “filthy” since the Koran teaches that. The men use boys and other men for recreation and give the boys special attention and gifts and those little boys are so proud and their parents brag—just like this “mother”.

Even our troops are forced to “think” sodomy is normal and not puke when the men make passes at them and smacking sounds in ME countries.

It is not genetic—it is learned by the environment—like this woman is forcing on her child. Confusing children on purpose is evil.

It is all worldview-—what little children are made to believe is “normal”. This woman has been lying to her son since he was born——and forcing him to hate his male body and mock God and his Design. She refuses the Truth and lies to him.

She is a Satanist/Marxist/atheist-—take your pick. She is mentally ill and hateful. She should be locked up for ruining a child’s perception of the world so he will never be normal......but then-—leftists want all evil normalized to destroy the family and long term relationships. State can take control.

Marx obliterates all biological connections—no mothers and fathers—no male or female-—they are interchangeable—radical egalitarianism-—State is parent and no religion—the State is God.

The Leftists need to destroy logic in children so they can teach their Big Lies—like Wundt stated-—control the education and you can make anyone think Snow is Black. This woman obviously went to public schools.

It must be a lot easier to allow a preschooler to decide how to shape his life than it is to actually parent your own child. Unfortunately, this mother doesn't realize that parenting is not about finding the easiest shortcuts; it's about finding the best options for the children in your care.

Instead of allowing someone with only a few years of experience and no perspective to raise himself, this mother should try attentive parenting, which does work. The first time one of my kids decided to be a dog longer than the normal playtime, in a manner that interfered with the next family activity, I put a decisive end to the game, and my child cooperated completely and voluntarily. It became "ice cream time" for the other kids, but dogs don't eat ice cream, they get a bowl of water. Doggie time died immediately.

If one of my boys had wanted to wear a dress, I would have dropped whatever else was planned to lead the kids on an expedition following the creak to look at salamanders, tadpoles, and bugs (we did that often), or to climb one of our trees, or to make bread by hand (too messy for frills), or something, anything where a dress would NOT have been appropriate or even practical to join in. I don't think that would stifle whatever it is that makes kids gay, but cross dressing would be no fun at all if it got in the way of playtime. I imagine after freely choosing a couple times not to engage in that behavior, a boy would decide that wearing dresses did not make life more fun or draw more attention. Also, I normally do a lot with my kids, so they would not have decided that threatening to dress up was a way to get my attention, it would only determine the type of attention they would get, and that in a non-obvious manner where they would not realize I had changed my behavior in response to theirs.

It would be easy to believe if it were Sharon Osbourne but a director for a major media syndicate?! Have the bleeding heart liberals gone too far left with PC to make themselves out to be tolerant of lifestyle choices and forgotten common sense and morals? Obviously. I think they do it because they think it makes them appear sensitive and caring because they need(so badly) to be a part if the “In” group and feel “accepted”.

Well Ms. Byrom homosexual men are glad you are converting Twirl into one of them so they wont have to. Put him in Boy Scouts in a den with a gay scout master, sign him up as a member of NAMBLA, teach him how to cross dress and make him wear pink all the time to attract gays like flies and that should do it. By the way you’re brilliant. Think of all the time and money you won’t have to spend on any grandchildren now. You did forget one thing though; life insurance just in case he contracts HIV and jail money for those “foot tapping” bothersome male prostitution charges. Oh and money for transgender surgery. Oh but wait you got your Messiah to make us pay for that. Sorry.
