Well, it seems to have already arrived there.

There is still 2014 and 2016.

2014 will determine whether the GOP is Boneyard bound. We will have to retain solid control of the House and maybe gain a majority in the Senate (if possible, and it depends on which seats are up for re-election).

I think it’s more likely that the conservative movement is headed for the boneyard actually. The GOP will adapt to this brave new world the left has created and eventually return to power with a more moderate base. The old guard, in the meantime, will wither and wane and watch as the world goes to hell in a handbasket.

great analysis. the history of “amnesty” is very clear. but can the lemmings, i mean the GOPe, stop themselves.

no matter what they do, conservatives have some lessons too. we are already unified under God and His principles masterfully laid down in our founding documents.

but we have to work to unify conservatives behind one party, lead by one leader, offering one slate. hint: secularism (apologies for God), coercion, bipartisanship, ignorance, ignorance of principle, appeals to fear, pandering to race, etc. will not work to unify conservatives, although they are the bread and butter of democrat unity.

and another thing. our decision process should not be modelled like the republican primary system which is set up to destroy conservative unity. we could use a separate system that feeds one conservative candidate for each office into the republican primary (or democrat primary if in a conservative district) assuming that there is still no national conservative party by that time.

“The GOP will adapt to this brave new world the left has created and eventually return to power with a more moderate base. “

You could’ve said that in 2008. But they lost.

“the conservative movement is headed for the boneyard actually.”

No, and I’ll explain to you why. Conservativism is the idea that men and women do best when they are able to rely on themselves and they can contribute to the economy based on their efforts. It is based on principles, not politics, not the number of votes in the election.

If you want the door - walk through it - it’s wide open for you - but you won’t like the door and you won’t like where you end up.

unfortunately, I have to disagree. decades of liberal policies have finally caught up to us, policies designed to enslave people to the democratic party. They create sin slaves, debt slaves, drug slaves, sex slaves, and welfare slaves. they are peddlers of dependency and there's no shortage of willing buyers and they're creating a larger market for themselves every year.

The demographic issue has finally caught up to us too. Hispanics, though probably quite conservative in nature, are perfectly willing to vote for socialists if it allows them to achieve their goal of amnesty. Listening to our own leaders tonight, it is clear that they are willing to put that amnesty on the table and we all know why, they want the cheap labor. They don't need to be a majority power to reap the benefits of that policy, they just need a plausible excuse and now they have it, we have to "woo the hispanics" which really just amounts to further balkanization of the US. That will result in race based politics (it already has obviously) and the democrats have recently demonstrated their mastery of exploiting that balkanization. It truly was a disgusting spectacle.

this will, of course, increase the number of dependent type people i.e. the democrat voter base. It's one more card in the deck stacked against us and they'll spend the next four years stacking that deck even more.

then there's the economy. It isn't going to improve. the ranks of the poor will continue to swell and the democratic party will be right there to promise them a share of the booty picked from the pockets of the productive members of society. It's a deal they can't refuse.

the writing is on the wall. This election is going to have far reaching consequences, guaranteed.America is f*cked. The reason for the second amendment is becoming increasingly clear.

Ezekiel 37.1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the wind of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones*:

בְּתוֹךְ הַבִּקְעָה וְהִיא מְלֵאָה עֲצָמוֹת*

= 1314

= ארצות הברית

Discern what you will but with the Weeper of the House overseeing the Boehner- boneyard, might as well call this valley of bones the Valley of Weeping.

I say it because I used to be a pro-abort globalist liberal, oh, say 12 years ago.

I was won over by the facts and the evidence which is overwhelmingly in favor of conservativism. I was won over by the words of Reagan when he talks about the desires of conservatives to better themselves and others. I was won over reading the response of English conservatives to the French Revolution.

This is not a new battle. Imagine how the folks in England felt when France went into revolution? Did they quit? Did they end up fighting France for close to 20 years before they finally prevailed at Waterloo?
