First, thanks to the veterans for their service. In today's Patriots - Bills game, they showed the new POW/MIA seat at the stadium in Foxboro. I don't know if I have ever been prouder of the team I have followed for 40+ years.

If you are not familiar with Bob Kraft, Patriots owner, he is a great guy. Was a season ticket holder during some of the worst Patriots seasons. At one point, the owner was one of the Busch family and it seemed as if the team would move to St Louis (the Cardinals had gone to AZ and the Rams were still in LA). Kraft bought the team and turned it around. Built a winning team and a new stadium...
At the games there was often a guy with a sign stating that he wanted the Patriots to retire #40 in honor of the patriot Pat Tillman. In a way, this is better as it honors all who served. Pat would probably have preferred this....
Every team should do something.
Some wise ass thought about letting the secondary sit there because they are MIA comes to mind, but not on Vets day. It is a creative and classy thing to do. Good for Bob. Go Pats.
:-P
Sounds like you aren't very familiar with Kraft yourself. A "great guy" wouldn't financially support pukes like Soetoro, Schumer, Kerry, the Kennedys, Torricelli, Dukakis, et al
Pats owner Kraft among Dems' top donors
Robert Kraft (Owner) Obama $22,900; Democratic National Committee $12,900
ONE?
His late wife, Myra was more of a democrat than he is. He’s supported Romney and Brown and his son who is the team President recently had a fundraiser for Romney at his house.
Once the wife died Krafty went more GOP & got a hot Hollywood GF.
