No compromise. Period. End of story.

Patriots don't negotiate the terms of our enslavement!

Never fear. “Bend Over Boehner” and the rest of the RINO’s will declare it to important to not do exactly what Obama and the Dems demand.

He’s within touching distance of his dream: becoming the Bob Michel of the 21st century. He has intoxicating visions of a positive Wash Post headline or profile piece.

The ‘Fiscal Cliff’ is just a congressional publicity stunt. If they don’t ‘reach an agreement’ nothing will change: we’ll keep going deeper in debt, like usual.
The Republicans should just say “Have it your way” and dare the Democrats and Obama to carry out their phony, concocted ‘sequestration’. I am sick of these attention whores and I, for one, won’t be played any more.

Boo Hoo Boehner will be the proverbial lawn chair with a half gust of wind. In view of the fact that the elitist Establishment wing of the GOP hates, loathes, and utterly despises conservatives and would rather lose with Dole, McCain, and Romney rather than just change their party affiliation to where their heart truly longs to be. They absolutely love being the minority party since they keep their overvalued salaries, cushy office and staff, along with a retirement and Health Care that only the Political Aristocracy would view as sufficient. They are all, every last one of them Progressives and part of the cancer this nations needs to cut out. I voted against the candidate each of those men ran against except for McCain. I was voting for Sarah Paling.

Ideally, Boehner is publicly calling for cooperation, but privately telling the rank and file that it is time to “revolt”, and refuse to play ball with the Democrats.

By doing so, he could act forthcoming and cooperative, but allow the rank and file to reestablish their credibility with their base. Importantly, now is the time, before the new congress is in office, because the Republicans leaving congress can lead the charge without fear of remonstration.

They can leave with a bang, while rattling the Democrats down to their bones before January 20th.

I dunno, let the Bush tax cuts expire, add Obamacare costs - both individual higher cost and corporate and you could have a severe recession if not worse.

What GOP House needs to do is pass bill killing Obamacare, make Bush tax cuts permanent and RECESS.
