The 'Who Moved My Cheese?' Election DANIEL J. FLYNN on 11.9.12 Best-selling bromides about embracing change aren't going to save the Republican Party post-Romney.

A decade or so ago several mid-level-manager types urged me to read Who Moved My Cheese? with the promise that it would change my life. like my life just fine as is. And anyhow, diving into a build-a-better-you book would upset my routine of reading histories. Self-help just isn't my comfort zone.

I apparently remain the only person in the United States who neither eats cheese nor has read Who Moved My Cheese? Nevertheless, I've absorbed that the book details the perils of resisting, and the advantages of embracing, change. Dr. Spencer Johnson's bestseller does this by chronicling the adventures of two adapt-and-overcome mice and a pair of recalcitrant little men stuck in their habits.

Tuesday was the Who Moved My Cheese?-election. Even a mouse could figure out which party adapted to the new nation and which one was trapped in the United States of Yesterday.

Obama didn't bring change. Change brought Obama.

Last year, for the first time in U.S. history, minority births outnumbered white births. Do you see the future? It's not black-and-white like the American past. It's in Technicolor, with browns and yellows and blacks outnumbering whites. Demographics have consequences.

Minority voters, who vote more monolithically if not more enthusiastically than whites, now comprise 28 percent of the electorate. Blacks, who constituted thirteen percent of the body politic, voted 93 to 6 percent for Obama. Hispanics, 1 in 10 voters, opted for Obama by a 71 to 27 margin. Asians (3 percent) similarly broke for Obama 73 to 26. Surely Mitt Romney would have won had he faced George Romney's electorate. America doesn't just look differently. It acts differently.

So, at this late hour, my mind wants to do the math, but I won’t let it. So, does any math wiz know how many millions of votes we gave up to the minority vote?

In the popular vote, Obama has a slight lead with 59,621,436 to Romney’s 56,989,709.

When elected officials and bureaucracies act outside the law they are simply lawbreakers. When the majority of the people vote in favor of the lawlessness that has greatly manifested itself in the highest offices they have withdrawn their consent to be governed by a constitutional government. By what legitimate basis does the United States of America, as a Constitutional republic, still exist?

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

'The People' no longer support that. They voted in support of lawlessness from the highest office on down. They voted against the rule of law. By referendum we now have a banana republic. The USAINO.

Have fun with your faux America, Mr. Flynn. It will go down in flames.

Again with the argument that socialism is a genetic predisposition of certain races.

And thus, the argument goes, the changing demographic requires that we adapt our principles to the tenets of socialism.

Wrong!

Socialist thinking is the result of culture, education, and propaganda. It has nothing to do with race.

I just don’t know what to think or how Black people think. I thought I understood them since I have Black people in my family but they voted GOP, not for Obama.

I work for a MAJOR employer that employs tens of thousands of people and they hire an unusual number of Black people. There is not a single one that is not qualified or over qualified. Most are very educated. My boss is Black, married with five grown kids and very religious. All three Personnel managers are Black, married and religious. Another one of my supervisors is Black, extremely religious, married with one child. Our plant manager is Black/Hispanic. We aren’t talking welfare class here. I have more respect for them than most white people I know. They all voted Obama. What the heck! The Black people on the production floor are all celebrating and wearing their Obama t-shirts.

I just don’t get it. How can they vote for the baby killing, job killing, gay marriage Muslim idiot-in-chief?

We, as a nation, gave up the rule of law when by silence and voter apathy we allowed our representatives to get away with not observing and enforcing law and protecting the Constituiton.
Like smoke creeping in under the door, we will not die from the flames but rather the slow and insidious displacement of life giving air, our freedom, with the toxic byproducts of a cancerous collective whose parasitic nature eats at the very core of the Liberty Tree.
