Has anyone bothered to ask the question: Why do we keep getting the same results in every election? I don't mean Republican vs. Democrat. I mean that the U.S. keeps moving to the left regardless of who is in power. That includes Bush I and Bush II.
The reason is so simple that most people can't see it. We only have one party. It may have two wings, but it is one party. The people who control the Democrats also control the Republicans and the various Congressional firefights and election brouhahas are essentially staged for the benefit of the great unwashed from sea to shining sea.
Ever wonder why Kennedy was shot and Clinton wasn't? Reagan was shot and Bush wasn't? Clinton and both Bushes are among the Harvard/Yale/Princeton elite who make the decisions.
Kennedy started to believe his own reviews, i.e. Camelot, etc. He was arrogant and thought he could do what he wanted and the powers that be couldn't touch him. In Dallas, Texas he found out he was wrong.
Reagan was forced to accept George H.W. Bush as his running mate regardless of the fact that Reagan couldn't stand him. Reagan was shot just 69 days into his presidency by the son of one of G.H.W. Bush's best friends, fellow oilman John Hinckley Sr. Had Reagan died, Bush would have been president. But, the elite are nothing if not patient.
He eventually became president anyway until it was time to put the even more sickeningly immoral Bill Clinton into office. Ever wonder why Bush lost to a philandering dumbass from Arkansas? George didn't care. He knew his son was next in line to the throne and would expand the government beyond any president in history, putting in place the DHS machinery that could surveil and control the populace. George the First learned well at the knee of his father, the Nazi collaborator Prescott Bush.
Obama is now doing the bidding of the global elite who seek a one-world government. Of course, you can't have a one-world government without the only remaining superpower on board. And, if that superpower is truly super and dominates the world, why would it's citizens agree to a one-world government? Our economy will keep sliding down the economic spiral of unemployment and debt until everyone truly hates Obama. He may be flying high now, but he's a sacrificial lamb being led to the altar of world government.
Americans will be thrilled at the prospect of a return to the prosperous Bush years when Jeb Bush runs and wins in 2016. By then, we will be willing to accept the panacea of a global currency as the dollar will be close to worthless. And, if a capitalist like Jeb Bush says it's OK, well what alternative is there?
We are being played like a Stradivarius and will continue on the path to our own destruction until we accept the truth that, as George Wallace said, "they ain't a dime's worth of difference between 'em." And we saw what happened to him, didn't we? As my Dad would say, "They sure settled his hash."
As Barry Fitzgerald says in The Quiet Man:
"Well, it's a fine soft night, so I think I'll go and join me comrades and talk a little treason."
try 20M illegals that gets free stuffs.
My guess is that America keeps moving to the left because True Conservatives(tm) cannot rally around one candidate, and that they cannot let go of the Prescott Bush = Nazi meme.
Because we accept too little.
Instead of calling for the glory days of 4 years ago, we should strive to achieve an America of 40 years ago. (and more)
Absent morality and wisdom the allure of buying things for yourself with someone else’s credit card is powerful.
Just yell, "FREE STUFF AHEAD!" to the imbeciles of Kardatian Nation.
"You'll give me all that free stuff, just for putting on these shiny bracelets? Really? Thanks! What a deal!"
1. A television/entertainment culture dominated by leftists.
2. Public education run by leftists.
3. Decline in moral character, brought about in part by #1 and #2 above
Obama got 70% of Hispanic votes, the GOP-e solution? Legalize and give voting rights to 15 million more.
The democrats response to this “brilliant” idea?

A long time ago, it was decided that the work week was 40 hours long and 2 weeks of vacation was enough to keep workers refreshed and motivated. We accepted the fact that some of our compensation package would be in benefits rather than money (health care, life insurance, vacation days, etc).
Then, we started automating. And downsizing. And offshoring. And then automation got really good.
We still work a 40 hour work week. Where did all the “labor saving” go? It went into putting American out of work because if you aren’t working 40 hours, you are gone.
We kept the benefits, so it is cheaper to pay your existing workers overtime than it is to hire more people.
So, as more Americans forcibly leave the workforce each year due to efficiency of the machinery, they are left with nothing to depend on but government handouts. Every worker who is laid off is a prime candidate to join the Democrats.
The globalists like the Bush family and Bill Clinton and the Marxists like Obama and Hillary know this fact.
We could put all Americans back to work by simply outlawing overtime. I do a job that was done by three a few years ago (I design and program industrial automation), so I get an obscene amount of OT, but in the interests of the nation I’d give it up right now.
Reducing the work week to 36 hours would also help. Lets give the working Americans some free time and create some jobs for those who are welfare-dependent.
But, this requires sacrifice and in today’s America, sacrifice is what you demand from the Other Guy.
I’m starting to think it’s mind control.
47%. The takers are starting to outnumber the makers.
Four years of Carter shook it up enough to slow it. I thought four years of Obama would do the same. Seems it’ll take at least 8.

Ye, we have asked that question and we know the answer and have always known answer: OBAMA MONEY!!!
As Rush says, the Democrat Party is the party of Santa Clause, giving away free stuff.
The drift from a representative republic to a more pure democracy (mobocracy) along with decline in public morals will almost inevitably mean 51% will confiscate the wealth of and enslave the 49%.
Matthew 12:30
He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
You have an America hating bumbling buffoon who just won re-election by stitching together a coalition of groups who are receiving in one way shape of form a living from the government, at the expense of others who produce.
Of course this has been obvious for years but some things you don't really know until the proof is in front of your nose, and if you'd asked me before last Tuesday I would have guessed that when the time came, in spite of what benefit government provided them personally, a majority of people would choose the obvious best path for the nation.
They didn't & I gotta admit like many I was stunned. Don't think I'll ever see this country & its people the same.
Because the propaganda machines (schools, tv, movies, news) all have a strong left wing bent.
The miracle is that there are any young conservatives at all.
“Americans will be thrilled at the prospect of a return to the prosperous Bush years when Jeb Bush runs and wins in 2016.”
As the Brits would say: “Not bloody likely!”
The libs won’t vote for a Bush, the conservatives won’t vote for a Bush, so who would?
You’re not really a doctor, are you?
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
I think you are over-thinking this one. No massive secret conspiracy required.
Our culture-creating organs have been almost entirely controlled by leftists for 50 years. Elections are merely expressions of the popular will, which is largely formed by the culture.
We are just seeing the consequences of 50 years of the Right ignoring the culture while focusing on politics. It worked for a while and we had some victories, notably the (possibly temporary) defeat of Communism. But we are now beginning to pay the price for abandoning the culture.
1)Because the Conservatives are civilized and refuse to brake the law.
Even for our children, and grandchildren.
2)Because Conservatives still believe things will change at the ballot box. So we wait, and wait, and wait.
3)Because Conservatives are not hurting enough, and do not feel threatened enough to stop the commie leviathon.

You are correct.
I was pretty active campaigning for Rob Steele for 1 of 2 seats on the University of Michigan board of regents but people clearly weren’t interested in “meaningless” seats like that so we put two former union officials in those seats. Steel finished 3rd over 5 other candidates.
For those who don’t know. Rob Steel is the tea partier who ran a late entry race against John Dingell and forced him to spend millions defending the throne.
It is the natural thing for democracies to do, and the reason the founders set up a republic and not a democracy.
1)The education system, either by design, inertia, or union incompetence, is failing (I am the product of a not-affluent public school system and a pedestrian public college, and I am shocked to continually find I am WAAAAAAY better educated than the typical 30-and-under who is wandering about out there)
2)Various capitalists, particularly in the banking sector, don’t seem to appreciate the support that capitalism has had in this country. Hence they push the edge of the envelope into areas that much of the public finds repulsive.
Sooner or later calls from the Elizabeth Warren-types to take them to the woodshed find an audience.
3)Leftists have undertaken a very calculated, patient long-term strategy to embed themselves in academia, media and law, and this 100-year effort is now paying dividends.
4)Younger people who did not grow up with the bogeyman of oppressive Communism on the other side of the pond do not understand why it is bad, and seem stunningly open to the idea of a big nanny government and a planned economy.
5)Appeals to race hatred and class jealousy sadly do work, and have always worked throughout human history.

It’s a lot simpler than that, if you study the philosophical school of material dialecticism. Anything that exists can change and it usually does so by giving rise to its complete opposite. We’re just at a point where the dialectical steamroller is gathering speed.
Is it better to receive half a loaf of bread for doing nothing or to work and earn a whole loaf?
Answer my question and you answer yours.

Because it’s easier to do less and grow to be satisfied with what’s being handed out vs taking risks, engaging in hard work and still possibly failing.
I have been saying this for years...
When Democrats are in control, their agenda progresses quickly.
When Republicans are in control, the Democrat agenda still progresses just not as fast.
Democrats are united and dont care about what the other half thinks of their actions. The Republicans never publicly stand up for their agenda, because they are too concerned about public opinion and being labled as obstructionists, racists, etc.
If the entire R party would use their bully pulpets all the time and stand up for their core values, things would be different.
Thats easy. Everyone that isn’t a white man, has been instructed to hate white men and they do! Except some married white gals. Then, after they accept the premise that white men are the reason for anything and everything bad on the planet, they vote for the anti-white man party.
Meanwhile white guys are shaking their head thinking “what the hell? you’re all going to starve!”
corallary of the second law of thermodynamices: "all societies tend toward maximum rot unless acted upon by intelligently directed energy".
It’s a lot simpler than that, if you study the philosophical school of material dialecticism. Anything that exists can change and it usually does so by giving rise to its complete opposite. We’re just at a point where the dialectical steamroller is gathering speed.
Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint... Proverbs 29:18
Brainwashing our youth from grade school, college; adults through MSM & Hollywood.
How about media that fills peoples heads with mush
I talked to a woman Friday in my travels that had no clue about Benghazi. She did seem to know Obama was president again
‘You thinketh too much. Such men are dangerous’. You are not supposed to say that layoffs create Democrats when the spinners claim layoffs create Republicans. This election blew their minds. But victims of really bad economies, vote for government. FDR figured that out.
Actually when people start making good money again working for private industry, they will vote Republican. I like Ike. He figured it out. Create jobs, Boehner, be a hero.
Also, Washington is run by beauracrats. Most of them are Democrats aren’t they? Maybe that has an impact?
You get it, 100%.
ex-snook?? Is that USS Snook?
Because we have a bunch of divorced, Godless parents that produced Godless, drug-addled children that vote for the benefits their parent lived off of?
For the same reason Jesus had to die for us - Man is a sorry. sinful creature at heart and Satan rules the roost.
“We are just seeing the consequences of 50 years of the Right ignoring the culture while focusing on politics. It worked for a while and we had some victories, notably the (possibly temporary) defeat of Communism. But we are now beginning to pay the price for abandoning the culture.”
How could you possibly have arrived at such reasoning?
Don’t you know that “it’s the economy, stupid!” ??
Jes’ kiddin’, of course.
Here’s a direct personal question:
When Patrick J. Buchanan stood before the Republican National Convention some years ago, and declared that there was a cultural war in this country, how did you regard his remarks? (Aside: many Republicans and even conservatives then mocked him as a nut, as do many of this forum still do, today)
That cultural war was ragin’ back then, and it’s burning even hotter today. And the wind is NOT fanning the flames in our favor.

Yup.
And we now have “the ladyparts voters” to contend with.
They voted for Obama @ 70% or so.
I doubt many of them are going to re-think their beliefs and vote Republican even as they grow older. A few may have children, but I’ll reckon that upwards of 50% of the ladyparts cohort will never bother...
It is quite obvious. The people who have their beaks in the comotose body that the United States has become are quite happy. They are being succored by the bloating, decaying body, so they are happy. They control both parties. There is no such thing as a Taft Republican anymore. A country is not a country when it cannot control its borders. The problem with Mexico is that it has been in a civil war/rebellion for decades. If we sealed the southern border, Mexico will blow up.
Recall what the Illiad tells us: The people of the country will pay the price in blood becouse of the poor leadership of their rulers. The rulers most probably will survive with ther mansions, concubines, and money while the citizens bleed in the streets.
What I mean by a culture war is much broader than what Pat meant. It refers not just to family and sexual issues, but to the entire field of culture, most of which is subconcious.
The type of stuff nobody argues about because they are just taken for granted are by far the most important issues in any society, and these are established by the culture.
For instance, in the ancient world nobody, or almost nobody, argued about the morality of slavery. It was just taken for granted. It would have been like arguing about whether water was wet.
We are approaching the end of the culture war on American society, with (near) total victory for the aggressors.
Think of a battle damaged ship. As the water pours in, the watertight integrity begins to fail.
As the watertight integrity begins to fail, the ship begins to flood faster.
As the ship floods faster, it sinks faster, causing a more rapid disintegration of the watertight integrity.
Basically, a vicious circle.
In our society, conservatives have been calling this the “tipping point”, where the people who take money from those who earn it outnumber those who earn it, and the vicious cycle begins.
