Pushed out by large crowd watching the stunt performance Saudi Arabia
An old Saudi man driving a pick-up laden with a camel plunged into a pit as he tried to avert being hit by a car involved in stunt performance in Saudi Arabia.
A 200-second YouTube film showed the pickup fell into the pit and remained stuck there for several minutes for it was pushed out by a large crowd gathering to watch the stunt performance in a sandy area in the northwestern town of Hail.
It was clear from the film, carried in Jazan News and other Saudi newspapers, that neither the old man nor his camel were hurt in the accident.
Stunt performances are widespread in Saudi Arabia and several participants and audience members have been killed or injured in such events.
Saudi authorities have recently introduced tougher laws against such risky performances but they have had little effect on the staging of these events.
A pickup is much too heavy for a camel to carry. He was probably wobbly from the start.

I thought hump day was tomorrow.
"What a camel was doing carrying my pickup I'll never know!"
That title hurts my brain.
CHAUNCEY: "Now there's something you don't see every day Edgar."
EDGAR: "What's that, Chauncey?"
CHAUNCEY: "A Pick-up carrying a camel falling into a pit while avoiding a crazy stunt driver."
EDGAR: "Oh, I dont know Chauncey.....it happens all the time on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show."
