Psalm 83 first. Then Isaiah 17. Then Ezekiel 38. The first two are already in place. Jordan isn’t part of Ezekiel 38 that I can see. But neither are Syria and Egypt.

I’ve never been, or wanted to go there, but it must be the most bizarre culture our world has known.

This is what the Book of Genesis has to say about the descendants of Ishmael, son of Abraham. Ishmael is regarded in the Bible as the first of the Arabic race:

He will be a wild donkey of a man,
His hand will be against everyone,
And everyone’s hand will be against him;
And he will [m]live [n]to the east of all his brothers.”

Genesis 16:12

Here, apparently the he is a metaphoric reference to the descendents. Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Book of Genesis says,

He will be a wild man; a wild ass of a man (so the word is), rude, and bold, and fearing no man--untamed, untractable living at large, and impatient of service and restraint.

The Jordanian King has done many fine things to bring his people into the modern age and visits the people in plain clothing, stopping by the various offices in disguise to attempt to get help for whatever services they need. When he finds any government employees treating common folk poorly, they are admonished (after he has left as they do not know he was the person in line) are admonished by their bosses.

Ihappened to be in an area when the King was visiting the countryside and saw him walking among the folk and visiting their homes for tea!

He established a rule that all children were to be in school during school hours and forbid them from begging on the streets.

Tourists are admonished against giving children money on the streets to persuade them but mostly their parents who sent them out daily to beg for money. The government has built homes for all bedouins to encourage them to stay long enough in one area to let their kids get an education.

These regulates are posted everywhere , so that tourists understand what the King, through the government is doing to help his people.

Massive reforestation is underway to turn Jordan from rocks and sand into areas more like Israel had done after they became a Stste.
