My Mom’s FAVORITE movie of all time was “The Russians Are Coming”.

Having grown up on Cape Cod during the Coild War greatly increases one’s enjoyment of this very quirky movie.

It can't happen because they are both dead but had Peter Sellers and Rodney Dangerfield made a movie together, it probably would have been the funniest flick of all time.

I also like that Shelly starts to go over to the dark side because he’s so entralled with Richard Libertini’s dictator.

The problem with many comedy movies is that they get less funny when you see them subsequent times.

I still watch A Christmas Story repeatedly every Christams and still laugh...

And still laugh at A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

and What's Up, Doc?

I’ve always wanted to see that. A very young Frank Langella.

I watch The Russians are Coming every Labor Day that I’m home. It’s an end of summer movie as Jaws is an early summer movie. (I believe the movie takes place about a week after the summer season ends.) It’s really very funny with one of the great casts of all time.

One of the funniest movies I ever saw was Witchcraft Through The Ages (1922). This was supposed to be a serious documentary but it is unintentionally funny.

LOL.
