Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns: Live Score, Highlights and Analysis
Bleache Report ^ | November 25, 2012 | Justin Onslow

It wasn’t a pretty game, but for Browns fans, beating the archrival Pittsburgh Steelers was a thing of beauty.

The Browns forced seven turnovers in the game, and held the Steelers to just 231 total yards. Only 49 of those yards came from Steelers running backs—a unit which combined for four lost fumbles.

Cleveland’s offense didn’t exactly play a great game, but it did just enough to protect the football and eat up clock. The Browns turned over the ball just once, which came in the form of a pick-six to Lawrence Timmons on their first drive.

Trent Richardson paced the offense for the Browns. He carried the rock 29 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. The Steelers stifled Richardson for most of the game, but he managed to churn out enough yardage to make fantasy owners happy.

LOL, Browns would’ve likely suffered another one of their late game collapses if the officials hadn’t blown a fumble call at mid field with over 2 minutes left. They managed to somehow stumble into a win this week with the benefit of facing a horrible 3rd string QB. About the only thing this win might do is cost them a spot or two in the draft, with the Browns misfortunes that will probably be an elite QB LOL.

Mercifully, I was spared from this game. My dear, sweet husband watched another one.

Weeden is good QB. He just needs some decent receivers.

Had Haden been in the last game Dallas would be licking their wounds and looking at another loss.

I will say this.

When a team forces 9 turnovers..it really should win by more than 6 points.

That said...GO BROWNS!

Like the Lions, the Browns have a worse record than the team’s ability and potential. It’s a bit of bon mot, but basically, they’re playing okay, they just don’t win games. The Lions of course make me utterly sick — had they won on T-giving Day, they’d have the potential of turning around their season, ending 10-6, and making scraping off a Wild Card playoff appearance. Instead, the best they can hope for now is 9-7, and only by winning the rest of their games. It’s possible, but mighty unlikely. Being just above .500 doesn’t get ya playoffs, unless you’re the Seahawks... ;’)
