ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Fists flew during a Black Friday fight at the Roseville Galleria as three men trade blows, knocking down a display. They were possibly fighting over a pair of shoes.
It happened in the middle of the mall, as families watched in horror.
The sea of chaos was the last thing Lawrence Corpus thought he’d see while Black Friday shopping with his family at the Westfield Galleria.
“It could have easily become a riot,” said Corpus.
But when fists started flying, Corpus pulled out his iPhone and began recording.
“I know a guy took the top of a trash can and actually threw it at (one of the other men),” witness Chase said.
That’s what witnesses say happened right before the violent brawl. The lid almost hit some shoppers.
“It was like a flying saucer; it just flew by,” said Corpus.

Sounds more like a shouting match.
That would be California, for those in Michigan and Minnesota.
That is the most upscale shopping in the Sacramento area, but they must have advertised something that drew from a wider area. They just recovered from a fire. They have had similar problems at the State Fair and at the “Old Sacramento” area.
Let us put it this way, the perps were not Amish fundamentalists.
We moved away in 2008.
Since we were not there when that would have happened it is up for debate. For all we know they may have just drank beer and watched the game. For that matter they may not have even watched the game.
I won’t repeat what someone said on the comment section of this story but, well go read for yourself. It says it all.
Roseville is upscale and very conservative .. it is in Tom McClintock’s congressional district.
Men fighting over women’s shoes doesn’t sound too “conservative”...
OKAY, I dunno if it was women’s shoes but men definitely don’t fight over mens’ shoes.
Can’t wait til a real disaster hits.... These people will probably be engaged in cannibalism by day 3.

How about this? (KCEN) -- Black Friday shoppers in Aurora, CO got quite scare after a man fired a gun inside a Target store. Witnesses say a man wearing a black ski mask entered the store and fired one shot into the ceiling then ran away.

I was not saying it is better here, just explaining the context of my knowledge. BTW Aurora is not the most upscale center in Denver, but Columbine HS is. Plus Jon Binet Ramsey was murdered in Boulder.
Some family members who went to Walmart got into a frenzied struggle with some gang-shopping jackasses. They got a couple of whatever item it was, which is all they wanted, but the elder of the two had scratch marks on her afterward. Thanks Morgana. Self-ping.

I’m not sure what kind of “shocked” families put themselves in the middle of a black day of materialistic chaos. “Oh, we just be out lovin’ an’ shoppin’, when all of a sudden...”
