The problem with Walker is that it is unlikely he can carry his home state. In a 50/50 electorate a presidential candidate must at least be able to carry his own state and get its electoral votes...

Sure... but it’ll be an otherwise token candidacy with a limited objective of fundraising for and helping down-ticket GOPers.
The tipping point has passed. Record numbers of welfare, food stamp and disability recipients, along with skyrocketing numbers of hispanics will keep the White House in the dems’ hands. That’s not going to change.
