I don't remember ever needing my parents help doing homework...except maybe giving me spelling words or listening recite something I had to memorize. In fact, I do remember trying to get it done in school so I didn't have homework. I hated homework.
That’s what homeschooling parent do.
Homeschooling parents of academically successful children that I know didn’t and aren’t helicopter parents. Academically successful children ( home or institutionally educated ) are independent learners.
