Are you allowed to hunt on that land at this time? The huggers like hiking & Biking trails because they have a way to stop hunting.

Its private land right now but there are increasing restrictions on other state land in the area. The fact that the legislature just passed a bill that the state can't buy land without a set plan for what they want to do with it is why the liberals are all stirred up. They're also mad that the legislature says they (the state) have to pay double the local taxes on the land.

I don’t live in Michigan anymore but I like to keep up on the going’s on in the state. I used to drop down your way once in a while from Chelsea when I lived there.
