LBJ declared war on poverty. There are still people in poverty. These politicians aren’t stupid. They know nothing will ever change. They just want to convince some people that they’ll help them more than the other guys. And why? Because they love that power and perks.

Founding fathers biggest mistakes (that need correcting)

No term limits.

Allowing them to vote their own pay incresses.

Put in place 1 and take away 2 and you’d have a much different government.

feel free to ad to the list.

I missed the part where Rubio and Ryan called for Bonehead’s removal. It looks like we are being played.

Message of Hope? LOL. Where did we hear that before? Do they really have to take everything from the democrat's playbook?

Well, I might add a third, I don’t know if this is a good idea or not but I’ll toss it out for discussion. In most parlamentary systems, if the President or prime Minister or whomever is the leader is doing so terrible, early elections can be called after a vote of no confidence. Of course, we had the chance to vote OBummer out last month, it did not work, but I’d like to adopt such a measure and see what happens.

Don’t care. Don’t care who the GOP comes up with. They got my last vote with Romney.

They had my last dollar near the end of George Dubya’s last term.

Now they have nothing.

There is no “future” for the GOP. The current iteration of the GOP is a severely tainted party that is at the mercy of the MSM and they will never break free of their negative image. The GOPe knows this and their ONLY concern from here on out will be to do whatever they can to hold on to their positions.

A viable alternative must be nurtured from the ground up. The GOP is only out for themselves. They are now the bitches of the dems and the MSM. Nothing will change that, outside of a second Revolution.

And BTW,GOP, don’t start that “hope” krap with me and mine - we don’t need it from the likes of you.

You just get your little rat ears down your little rat holes, and with your little rat brains where you can hope your are relevant enough to survive.

I’m not voting GOP either. My last vote was for Romney. I’m really wanting the crash to take its course now rather than dragging this out.

The idea of American gov’t is over. The American dream is no longer within reach.

You can accomplish both with one law. A senator or congressman will never receive a pay increase for the entire time they hold office. From the first day in office, their salary remains the same. They are free to vote as many pay increases as they like...for their successor. This would eleminate future Robert Byrds.

Yes. The GOP is Boehner slurring on the podium in Tampa reading the teleprompter “the ayes have it” after hearing thunderous nays. (I know, it was about Ron Paul delegates, but someday he may do the same to conservatives... oh wait.)

Neither Rubio or Jindal are elegible to be VP or POTUS, as they are not Natural Born Citizens.

Why do so many in the media continue to ignore the Constitution and keep pushing Rubio as a POTUS candidate?

Is it because they ignored the fact that Obama was not a NBC and spent over $2 million to hide his records?

That Obama has gotten away with his fraud, so far, is not a reason to abandon the Constitution’s requirements.
