Those unprepared are simply too stupid to see this coming, meaing they are also the stupid that created the mess. If this country goes down it is because of the Takers, and once the system goes down they want to take what’s left??? F. ‘em.
If you don’t have the ability to defend your goods, you are prepping for the people who will decide they deserve them more than you.
If you don’t prepare, then you get to ride the bomb down, or to offer to exchange goods or services with the people who have prepared, at a mutually agreed price.
Some are too poor to do much of anything, though.
Darn right ‘Toad. I, along with many other FReepers I’m sure, have spent quite a large amount of time and money ‘getting ready’ over the past years. I’m up in the boonies along with a small secure prepped group of family and neighbors, (If they can be termed ‘neighbors’ in the usual sense, we are a bit spread out up here in the mountains), that all think quietly alike regarding preps/politics and the climactic fiscal meltdown, a meltdown which has been called a ‘mathematical certainty’ by quite a few of the money men, that is headed America’s way. The unprepared ARE stupid, the warnings and examples are everywhere and have been for years for ALL to learn from. Even with Katrina and Sandy, preppers are STILL getting slammed as being goofy or paranoid or any number of other creative names. A fiscal mess or another big storm or anything really....it does not hurt to get/be ready.

Can’t agree with this comment at all.This economy has too many people scraping to stay afloat. It has nothing to do with stupidity in many cases.
Yep, more FSA BS. No, you may not have what I have labored over and prepared over the years. You should have done the same. You didn’t.
My family comes first. No offense but if you didn’t prepare, it’s not my problem. If you try to make it my problem, you won’t have to worry about any problems for very long.
My advice is to start preparing and stop thinking that you can have what I have worked for. In this ant hill, we’ll carve you grasshoppers up and spit you out.

The destroyers, (the takers), like this woman are so afraid a day will come when they cannot use the government to steal what others produce, sometimes with blood, sweat and tears. My patience is short these days..I find them despicable. Any able bodied person should be working at something, even volunteering..They should not be pulling in more tax payer money than those who work..When you consider bought votes, this is a criminal enterprise designed to steal a country and nothing less.
Agreed. I’m responsible for my family, including a few beloved unprepared relatives. I CANNOT be responsible for the rest of the crowd.
And we’ve tried to help the community with Dave Ramsey get out of debt classes, Boy Scouts and American Heritage Girls. Get out of debt, live responsibly, learn basic survival skills. I have tried, and many refused. When the SHTF, my responsibility is to my children and immediate family.
