The dinner bill for three friends at Chilly D's Restaurant stung, but it wasn't the price - printed on the top of the receipt were the words "Fat Girls".
"I got the bill, I was looking at bill [and] I was like, 'Why does this receipt say 'fat girls?'" customer Christine Duran said.
The friends had dined out at the Stockton, Calif., restaurant, which is a part of the Cameo Casino Restaurant, on Thursday. The bill lists charges for three tri-tips with fries and three sodas, for a total of $25.50. A bartender named Jeff had apparently typed in "Fat Girls" to keep track of their bill.
When Duran asked a manager for an explanation, he "had like a smirk on his face, like it was funny but trying not to laugh," she said.

Printed Tee-shirts work just as well.
I don’t feel any more sorry for them than if an alcoholic got a bill that said “drunk guy.”
Jeff the bartender should have written down the “horizontally developed” girls instead of fat girls.
Get a mirror.
Seriously, the "right" not to be offended has metastasized everywhere. In a reasonable society 1) The restaurant would lose future business from the fat girls, 2) the fat girls would be embarrassed enough to STFU, and 3) the rest of us could go about our business.
But, no-ooo. Now we all have to hear about it.
For what?
How about they don't go back there?
I think that’s exactly what they did.
I’d also recommend: If the customers are annoying, don’t scribble “Naggers” at the top of the bill.
Or if expecting a small tip, don't inscribe the bill with the words "the niggardly."
I’m not sure, but I would guess that one could not call this defamation.

They are fat. The bartender didn’t make a mistake.
:-)
That will kill the customer base for sure.
I'm not so sure. There are many people who would really enjoy eating at a restaurant with no fat people in it. Fat is not seen as visually attractive by many people and the clientel of a place adds to (or subtracts from) it's general atmosphere.
There's a lot of "no fat chicks" stickers out there.

I got a kick out of that picture - the three of them....sharing a sole glass of water....they have apparently started their diets.
What if your bill said “gay guy”?
The receipt should have said, “big boned girls”.
Yeah, I want to live in a country where you can sue for every insult. They have a constitutional right to never have their feelings hurt. No one better ever mention that someone is fat, ever again. Even if they are. Just keep your mouth shut, tiptoe around, don't say a word or you'll OFFEND someone.
horizontally developed
“gravitationally challenged”?
