the rise of 0 scares me -- I'm 34 and to me it seems incredible that people of my age or younger would want to turn our country into a communist state. Come on -- I've travelled to China and India and the middle east and now eastern europe and I see how they are turning their backs on the failed policies of socialism. Why would we choose those same failed policies????
It makes no sense at all -- communism has failed, socialism has failed -- they've failed so badly people are turning from them. The quality of life in these places has completely changed from 1990 to 2012
What madness can make an electorate follow failed policies?

My ex once got too inebriated and passed out on the couch..the house phone rang and in his stupor he grabbed and answered a Coors beer can. Right there in front of the whole family who had just walked in the door to visit for Christmas. Good times.....we still laugh at him!

I have never made that mistake although I did wind up with some dog doo in my ear once.

unfortunately the Germans have a lot of bad terms to call them -- Hun, Fritz, Heinies, Kraut, Boche (in French "cabbage-head")
In Polish I was amused to find out that the word for Germany: Niemcy and the word for a German: Niemiec are derived from the word nem meaning "mute" -- its similar in other Slavic languages -- presumably the early Slavs came upon the Germans saying "ach, die zu" and went "Eh? What are you saying? are you unable to speak?" :-P
