The thing that got the musico types so much was the perspective of it all. And it’s exactly as you said, We saw garbage. They saw something else.
Even a regular lowly hobbyist like myself has a significant amount of cash (relatively speaking) wrapped up in our instruments/gear. Some of the more pro high end guys are well into 6 figures with their home studios. No joke.
And we ALL bitch that we ‘can’t do X’ because we ‘NEED’ a new Neve preamp or whatever. Like hell we ‘can’t’ it’s ‘want’ not ‘need’. We scoff at things these kids only dream about.
Perspective indeed.
These kids certainly highlight having different perspectives.
