‘Destination Tokyo’ is one of the best submarine films of the WWII genre.
‘Battleground’ ain’t bad either for the Airborne Infantry side of the house.

Yea, I noticed those while setting up this weeks DVR recordings last night. I also added the “Fighting 69th” with James Cagney to the recording schedule.
Tony Curtis (actor), was 18 when he saw this movie, inspired to join the Navy, served aboard a sub tender during WWII
Love this movie. They should put “30 Seconds Over Tokyo” on immediately following. In that movie, the sub in Tokyo Bay is mentioned.
