A cat named Sophia will be home for Christmas after being missing for seven years, the San Diego Humane Society announced Monday.
Sophia went missing from her family in Arizona and ended up in the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA over the weekend.
Luckily, a microchip was planted in Sophia and the humane society was able to contact her family.
Now a little older and lot wiser, Sophia will be flying back to Phoenix to be reunited with her family. The humane society and SPCA is making her return possible. I was shocked to hear that she was ok after seven years!" said Sophia's owner Trish Oster. "I didnt know how I was going to manage getting her from San Diego. Its the best Christmas gift I could have asked for."
Good they found her. People are being made very comfortable with getting chips inserted into their animals; but I’m suspicious of how that technology will eventually be used by the New World Order - yes, Antichrist - and by that time, since Fluffy and Fido are chipped, the comfort level may be a little too “comfortable”. So far, my animals have to stick close to home; they’re not likely to be chipped.
No, because it’s more likely to be dog. One reason that I don’t eat Chinese food, except for a particular seafood restaurant in NYC Chinatown.
Well said...ditto that!
Which means you are an expert on cats. lol.
Kitten Play-It-Safe was afraid to fly
He packed his suitcase and kissed his kids goodbye
He waited seven damn years to take that flight
And as the plane crashed down he thought
“Well isn’t this nice...”
And isn’t it ironic... don’t you think?
It is a bona fide expression of a common Chinese sentiment regarding cats.
Take it up with them.
My dog’s stomach was very upset,
So I put him in the car and we went to the vet.
And on our way to the vet, I killed a cat.
Hey I said, isn’t that ironic?
I adopted a kitten from overseas,
To rescue him from cat forced-labor factories.
And on his very first birthday,
We went to Build-a-Bear Workshop.
And isn’t it ironic,
Don’t you think?
A little too ironic
And yeah, I really do think
Never chip the cat
Much better chance he won’t find his way home

Alien implants is a term used in Ufology to describe a physical object placed in a cat’s body after they have been abducted by aliens.
I sent the siamesecat rescue ten dollars for the holidays. I hope it can give a few kittehs some cheezeburgers, if not a furever home.
Good, but your “Fake Christmas/Lombardi” poem is one that should be inscribed and glazed on a plate, to be placed on a mantle.
heavy snow in the Hartford area. first of the year.
this one may end up being 4 inches of white stuff. Stunning because we are all expecting a western Tennessee winter. Global warming and all.
“Stunning because we are all expecting a western Tennessee winter.”
Damn Rebs...:)
Well that’s not it, google only brings up this thread.
Pretty good though it should be a proverb.
In the meantime, the BoSox trade Melancon and Sands away for an old expensive closer. Youth movements cannot happen in Boston because the fans don’t understand it. They insist on being competitive every year even at the cost of the future and even if they end up not being competitive.
Like this year when they had the best team in baseball and won 69 games. Melancon will have a great 4 years in PITT at cheap cost and would not surprise me to see Sands soon with 30 HR.
But Brock Holt 2B to the Sox, he is a good player, age 25.
I hope Epstein is making progress with Cubbies. Why are so many freepers also Cubs fans?
Are they? Beats me. Lots of Americans are Cubs fans cause they can watch them on national WGN free tv. In the past almost every Cubs game was on WGN, now it's split with Comcast sportsnet.
I don't like the contract Epstein just gave Edwin Jackson after being snubbed by Anibal Sanchez.
“Youth movements cannot happen in Boston because the fans dont understand it.”
Exactly. And the RS are essentially making the same stupid moves by paying real money for mediocre players and trading cheap (and potentially good) players for more expensive and mediocre players (Hanrahan). Whatevs.
“Why are so many freepers also Cubs fans?”
No idea.
