I am from another town where glaciers are fairytales, I was as much of a tourist as the Australian tourist, so I decided to join the crew. The beautiful scenery was amazing, but the nature doesn't care about anyone. That day almost became our last day.

Not really. Not sure where this was filmed but tour boats do this almost every day in Alaska. The results aren't always so dramatic but there are lots of youtube videos. As soon as the ice hits the water the boats scoot away, then circle back to catch the next one.
