That Oz dude has always seemed kind of smarmy and gay.

I don’t know if anything he says is valid or not.

He just seems creepy-faggoty.

This is one of the supposed benefits of multi-level marketed Vemma (mangosteen). And doesn’t Oz also push saffron extract as appetite suppressant?

While I think Oz started with good intentions, I believe he has turned into one big time, advertising guru.

I can’t tell you how many of my friends actually listen to this man. They usually don’t talk about it around me because they know I’m going to roll my eyes at them. Of course, they also think Oprah is just the best.

Dr. Oz is a heart doctor.

One day I saw him take the blood pressure of a guy who was on stage. The guy was obviously very nervous being on stage.

Dr. Oz found his BP was high and concluded that he had High Blood Pressure and needed to get to his doctor and get some medicine.

Okay, so this heart surgeon has never heard of people’s BP going up temporarily due to anxiety???? I think most MD’s learn that the first year.

His advice on herbs and diet is pretty useless, but also not really dangerous. I would seriously wonder about his advice on other issues, tho.

Been on committees with him. He was a pretty nice guy back then. I have never watched him on television. In general, I don’t think it’s a good idea to become a television personality as a doctor, but I guess there’s a role for this.

As someone who has lost right at 100 pounds in the last 18 months, I can tell you how to lose weight

Eat right, exercise more.

That’s it - no tricks, no gimmicks, no pills.

The good thing about exercising more is that you can eat a bit more - not a whole lot, but enough that I’m rarely hungry and still losing slowly.

Not very fancy, but there it is

it works. i can’t take it because lots of these pills have some of the outer mango and rind part in them and mangoes are in the same family as the poison ivy, oak and sumacs - their outer skin/rind has urishiol oil in it and if you have a lot of reaction to the poison ivis, you will get a rash from taking the supplements.

Oz is/was a successful surgeon. Now he is a very, very successful entertainer. His audience is almost entirely women, presumably very easily impressed women.

In the words of Mark Levin, “What the hell is a Dr. Oz? I know what The Wizard of Oz is, but not a Dr. Oz.”

All this Oprah-sanctified guy has to do is pronounce something the new weight-loss or health cure-all, and the same women who swooned over Oprah will rush to grab it.

I can’t even stand the commercials for his show——filled with the same hysterical shrieking and screaming by the dupes who screamed for Oprah.

I had never watched the Show, but one day when switching channels I thought I would check it out for a moment.

The exciting topic came in an audience Q & A segment. Some guy wanted to know why you go #1 when you are going #2.

As I watched the convoluted Dr. Oz response, I realized we as a Nation will be going the way of the Dinosaurs very soon. In other news, my S-I-L records and watches Dr. Oz every day.
