I watched what he said. I ran out of the room because it was so off the wall.

If you think what Rush said was off the wall, you must be completely ignorant of the Rooney Rule. Rush speculated that McNabb was getting special consideration because of his race. I personally don't agree with that, but the NFL does--as a matter of policy--give special consideration to blacks when it comes to coaching positions, believing that blacks need "special help" in order to get hired. Why then is it so "off the wall" to wonder if similar consideration is given to other positions? You sound like a politically correct moron.

The main reason there were few or no black qbs in the pros thirty or forty years ago is nothing to do with racist pros. The fact is: few major colleges had black qbs. And many southern colleges had few or no black players period. For decades there was a very small pool of black qbs for the pros to choose from.

And there’s a story this morning about RG3 and whether famed Birmingham surgeon Dr. James Andrews cleared him to play last week. Shanahan said he was cleared, but Dr. Andrews says he wasn’t and that he is concerned whether RG3 is fit enough to play now without risking further injury.

And RG3 is at his youngest and strongest, but running during his rookie season has put him in a risky situation.

No problem and you're welcome! I have been a Cowboy fan for just as long as I have been an NC State fan so I would have been a little torn had Dallas beaten the Redskins last week. I would have wanted the Cowboys to prevail, but I would also have hated to see Wilson lose. In a way, I got the best of both worlds because I can pull for Seattle today and the 8-8 season has Jerry Jones talking about hiring an Offensive Coordinator which Dallas desperately needs! It is not permitted for a true blue Cowboy fan to pull for the Redskins, but the two QBs in this game appear to be very similar in that their character is just as outstanding as their athleticism!
