Is he a democrat?
The real story? Slip fall accident on ice.
In the mountains at 7000 ft.
During a blizzard.
While I was alone.
The details get more graphic for some. It was an adventure.

If he complains, I'll yank his man card.
He got a great story out of it, and will live to tell it. Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Ahhh! So you were figure skating on a frozen lake in the mountains? While doing a triple lux I can see how that could happen especially if visibilty was poor during the blizzard.
(no further detail needed. :D)
Well, he might be a mechanic, or a surgeon, or any profession requiring hand work. I just remember every hand stitch I made in that dress. PAINFUL. An ordinary house cat has a lot of nasty bacteria lurking in its claws and mouth. I can’t imagine what’s in a wild cat’s mouth! The cuts and slashes on his face look like they really hurt. I’d give him about 5 years before he can relax telling his story.
He'll be fine. Couple of asprin, a few weeks, and he'll be embellishing his story.
Notice the cuts aren't bandaged for the photo-op..... He's already thinking about it.
It's a guy thing.

Also reminds me of the SNL skit with Christopher Walken. The bobcat is mentioned a few times.

What part of the body do you consider “the parlor”?
Headline editors should be thrashed.

My mom back when she was young found a bobcat kitten in the woods ironically at her grandparents house in Massachusetts. She brought it home to NJ, named it Cookie, and raised it as a pet. It grew to the size of the cat in this article. It would eat its food by using its paw to scoop the food to its mouth, this was an indication it wasn’t your ordinary house cat. My mom had the bobcat for its entire natural life, and it did not maim anybody, seriously that is. The bobcat loved my mom and my grandmother, but did not care for guys.
Local MA televison reported that the wife shot the cat with a pistol. Let’s see if that makes the national news.
Maybe the bobcat was rabid but maybe it was just cornered. A cornered wild animal will fight every time.
