Deputies in Wisconsin responded to an unusual call Tuesday night after a driver reported that a bobcat was inside his car and refused to leave, authorities said. "Numerous deputies were curious" when they heard the radio dispatcher describe the call and responded to the driver’s location, Portage County Sheriff Mike Lukas wrote on Facebook. Lukas said that the three deputies were "shocked" when they arrived and found a live bobcat inside the vehicle’s front grille. Another bobcat has been photographed by a game camera in a Will County forest preserve. This rare picture of the elusive animal is from the Sand Ridge Savanna Nature Preserve in Custer Township, which uses motion-activated cameras to document animal numbers and movements. "Bobcats can have a wide variety of home range sizes, so that won't help either," Blankenship added. A farmer in northern B.C. who caught a lynx in his chicken coop on Sunday didn't react the way one might expect. He didn't grab a gun or yell at the wild animal. Instead, Chris Paulson grabbed the lynx by the scruff of its neck, lifted it off the ground and scooped it from the coop. Then he gave it a gentle scolding. "He just looked ... a bit like [a kid] with its hand in the chocolate chip bag," Paulson told CBC News from his home near Decker Lake, west of Prince George.

There have been some new developments in the case of the black panther reported to have been seen by some rural Prairie du Chien (WI) residents. The panther (also known as a cougar) has killed several pigs, a calf and probably a Boston terrier, said Larry Stluka, who lives about four miles north of Prairie du Chien along Highway 27. AMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida woman is responding after a man accused her of owning a bobcat that attacked him inside a condo at a downtown Tampa high-rise. Marcos Hernandez, who is represented by the Morgan & Morgan law firm, filed the lawsuit last month in Hillsborough County against SkyPoint Condominium Association, Inc. and Christine Lee. Lee tells News Channel 8 that his claims aren’t true. She says the alleged bobcat is actually a domestic long-hair tortoiseshell cat named “Calli.”

A frightening encounter between a rabid bobcat and Florida Wildlife Officers was captured on camera. Last week, the bobcat got into a North Port home from through an open front door and would not leave. FWC was called to the scene. That is a good sized bobcat and a small coyote.  The confrontation took place at my ranch at 0918 on October 9th, 2016, according to the game camera.
