Adam Carolla would say that the Dutch Official in question is obviously too short to be able to pee in the sink. :-)
But sseriously, showers are a huge waste of water. Anyone that’s camped out in a motorhome or gone on long trips on a sailboat knows that you never waste water on shower, you sponge bathe.
This guy claims of saving water by peeing in the shower is as ridiculous as Al Gore’s claims of saving energy by having his office in his 30.000 sqf house.

I always chuckle when I have to flush the water efficient toilets two sometimes three times to get everything to disappear.

They must have stolen all that water from their colonies. That’s why so much of Africa is a desert now!
